attic decor - The_4thdoctor - 10-10-2016 sooo, i was thinking, what could i add to my attic (irl) but the problem is the triangular roof that covers most of the room... i need a new shelf, because i like collecting stuff and displaying, if you have any suggestions on what type of shelf i can get or other things i could add to the room, please tell me ~Doc RE: attic decor - Seasoap - 10-10-2016 hm well if youre looking to buy I'd suggest to get some custom made to fit the exact angles and dimensions you desire, but if youre looking to build always. use. reinforced. angle. brackets. they look like right-angled triangles which the shelving board rests upon, this is sturdier than the regular angle brackets which may dip under the force of your nic nacks and/or over time. for standalone shelving go for things that make the space look bigger, draw attention upwards perhaps to some more nic naks (posters, paintings, any flat hanging pieces) etc. go for floating shelves, intricate details, anything you want because the worlds your oyster! lmao its like 11pm im going a bit loopy p.s. always go multipurpose!! C: found this and thought it looked kinda cool https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/a6/37/95/a637950c2f36ee9d223af7e098429b50.jpg not exactly sure if it fits your attic though |
