I recently migrated to a new laptop, and so I had to install Minecraft on it.
The launcher is 1.11, but since the server is still 1.10, it won't let me join! Can anyone help me?

Open the launcher and click on edit profile, there should be something that says 1.11 or running version, something like that, click on it and it'll drop down a menu of all previous minecraft versions, click on 1.10 and it should work.
