Just step outside of the enclosure to ride it. Riding pets like that triggers suffocation mechanics fairly easy, and I bet if you hit f5 you'll see your head is stuck in the roof. Solution: don't ride a pet in a place with low roof.

It's like riding a mini horse, it's just the game- not a glitch.
