I tried to get online today, noticed it updated to 1.12 so I went to change it.
After I changed it when I pressed play this sign keeps poping up saying "A java exception has occurred" and wont let me get on, anyone know what this means?

I have no clue but I would suggest redownloading Java.

You should just relaunch your game (at least for me it work)
