Just wondering, but are we not supposed to use the formatting codes on signs as well as the colours?
(&b &n &l &o and &k which we can't use anyway)

Wow, me and Marti nagged frost to fix it, and he did!
Now all VIP's can use formatting codes on signs. :
(No one really noticed so, I put it here
)P.S. &k Won't work on signs either as it is considered spam and very annoying.
