Unfortunately I don't know how to troubleshoot, I just know how to get the mod up and using this method- however the old server will still be up for ppl to save their builds- similar to how the old server reset was before. So there will still be time to access them even after the reset date

no you don't need forge, you need paper, as explained in the tutorial, I gave updated links
