turtle eggs can't be trampled in claimed territory - charmingowl - 07-30-2024

I love turtles and I have a turtle sanctuary in my town that I'm building, but when it comes to their safety I get paranoid about players or mobs potentially stepping on the eggs and destroying them before my babies get a chance to hatch. This presents a dilemma because it presents a large liability if I share my town for people to visit (It's the first underwater town to my knowledge and it would be a shame if I had to keep it a secret).

Would it be possible to make turtle eggs within a claim not able to be trampled by anyone or any mobs? It makes me really sad when that happens.

Locked, claimed and well lighted breeding area?

Yeah I make little platforms topped with sands for turtle eggs to be hatched. I will use the /lock command on turtle eggs to prevent players from walking on them. TY
