Ban Appeal - kingapollyon - 03-25-2025 server you were banned from: smp.hometownsmp.com Minecraft Username: ThatsDope42O reason for ban: Ban Evasion who banned you: TheDutyPaid Why should you be unbanned: i havent played on the server in a while now i really havent been playing much minecraft at all, i remember getting banned a while back on this server for taking some emerald blocks in the nether then i appealed it and returned said emeralds, and then later on i killed someones cows in an old abandoned base and was banned again, i think i either also appealed that or was just banned from then on, but id like to have a chance to rejoin the server, just so i can enjoy minecraft again honestly because i havent found any good servers since i quit playing this one and i have nobody to actually play the game with and its boring alone. apparently i ban evaded as well, i have no clue how as ive never purchased another minecraft account besides the one i have, but i remember doing i i dont know how. if i did have another account i was probably high and purchased another copy of the game and completely forgot about it. i do have a tendency to get locked out of my own accounts so it could have been the case. but i genuinely dont remember ever making another account which does confuse me because i remember when i got banned for ban evasion after reading the replies to this appeal. why you want to come back: ive been wanting to get back into playing minecraft but havent had the ambition or energy to do so, but with the update coming tomorrow i want to play the game and enjoy it, i just have nobody to play  with, and being on a server with other people makes it less lonely RE: Ban Appeal - melaniebeedot - 03-26-2025 TheDutyPaid is no longer a part of our staff team so I will be taking over your appeal. In your "Reason for ban:" section you state your ban message says "ban evasion," but in the rest of your appeal you don't mention the ban evasion at all?  Your "Why should you be unbanned:" section is a summary of your past crimes on your other account, but doesn't really give any good reason as to why we should give you a second chance...  So I'm going to need you to edit your appeal and try again, especially since it seems you were banned once for grief, then again for animal killing, and this seems to be the 3rd strike with ban evasion, so I'm really going to need some convincing as to why we should let you come back a 4th time... RE: Ban Appeal - kingapollyon - 03-27-2025 i dont even know what ban evasion is i just tried to log on one day and was banned ive never heard of ban evasion i literally have no idea what it even means, after looking it up though i can 100% confirm i didnt do it because i have no other accounts besides the one im trying to get unbanned, you say i commited ban evasion? where the hell is your proof? i never did anything wrong its that simple. i can barely afford my rent let alone another copy of minecraft. whats the explanation behind my "ban evasion" besides someone who is no longer a part of staff decided it was the case. what is the name of this alleged other account i was logging in to? i guarantee you cant find it because it doesnt exist. RE: Ban Appeal - melaniebeedot - 03-27-2025 The bedrock account you originally got banned on: The java account with the same name that you got banned on 4 months later for ban evasion: RE: Ban Appeal - kingapollyon - 03-28-2025 i dont have 2 accounts, i may have logged on from mobile or from the same account but on java, but either way i dont have 2 accounts and i dont even remember most of this as its been so long. i just want to play minecraft RE: Ban Appeal - melaniebeedot - 03-28-2025 When you switched to Java: RE: Ban Appeal - kingapollyon - 03-28-2025 i do remember this but i never switched to java i always had java this is the same microsoft account. but i remember this now after seeing the screenshot, i joined thinking id still be banned and when it let me in i figured i had been unbanned, then as soon as i joined, after saying that admins tp to me and freeze me and ban me, i didnt even know i was ban evading, but i guess i was, but again ive always had java on my same microsoft account , i just used bedrock for the longest time,  i dont know why it let me connect from java and not bedrock if i was banned. i own minecraft on xbox mobile and pc but i use the same microsoft account for both and always have, the same account ive used for my xbox profile and steam since i was like 7. but either way my only intentions here are to play minecraft in a server i remember enjoying very much. RE: Ban Appeal - melaniebeedot - 03-29-2025 Java and Bedrock are not the same account, even if you use the same log in, (java players got a free bedrock version for their computer through the same launcher, but they are separate accounts in the game), but you can see the UUID is different on the two accounts from the first pair of screenshots, because they are different accounts, hence you were able to log in on the other one once the first one was banned. Regardless, you don't just get unbanned when your ban message says "Appeal your ban at http://www.hometownmc.com/forums", so I having a bit of a hard time believing that excuse. Now that we're on the same page... feel free to edit your original appeal to include the ban evasion, and then we can proceed. RE: Ban Appeal - kingapollyon - 03-29-2025 i edited the original, i didnt know bedrock and java were seperate accounts. that may have been what happened, i must have never appealed the ban for killing cows, i definently tried to though they were random cows at an abandoned farm. and then i tried to join one day on java instead of bedrock and it let me in. i never had to purchase the game again though i already owned java and the microsoft account i log in with on bedrock is the same as the email i use to log in to the launcher, i always thought they were the same account because i only had to purchase one version of the game
