Ban Appeal - Poohbearr7 - 03-29-2025 Server you were banned on (SMP/Discord): SMP Minecraft username: Poohbearr7 Reason for your ban (exactly what it says when you try to log in!): Grief Who banned you: SelfAwareDorito Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): I Do not admit to Grief, as I do not believe I should be banned. Yet there is still a possibility I Griefed so I am sorry for doing that. I do not know if breaking something by accident and placing it back is considered Griefing but it can still be considered this. I believe i should be unbanned because this breaking an item frame with painting in it and then fixing it is a small mistake, and I will be more careful next time when outside/inside someone’s Build/house. I am sorry for causing trouble and will not do it again (: Why do you want to come back: Because I want to start playing more often, I haven’t been online in a hot minute and I’m gonna start coming online more (: Sorry Again I basically admired by saying the item frame thing but I did do that with the item frame “Admited RE: Ban Appeal - SelfAwareDorito - 04-01-2025 Hi Poobear7, Thank you for your appeal. I just want to clarify that your ban came as I noticed you broke a diamond block at /warp diamond and replaced it. This is after several verbal and official warnings on both your bedrock and java accounts that were issued over the last few years. You’ve been instructed several times to report accidental block breaks to staff and not fix them yourself. As this has been a recurring issue, a ban was applied to your account. To move forward, I’d appreciate it if you could please answer the following questions: Why is it important to report grief to staff? How come this has been a repeating issue despite warnings from several staff members? What will you do differently moving forward? Thank you and I look forward to your response. Cheers, SelfAwareDorito RE: Ban Appeal - Poohbearr7 - 04-03-2025 Hi! Thanks for the response. I think it is important to report grief to staff so the server dose not look like an anarchy server lol, and so everyone just has a better experience in general, it’s not fun to be griefed. It’s been a repeated issue because most of the time I eather break the block/painting/item-frame etc, by accident and just place it back, i place it back because I don’t want the staff to be thinking I’m just trying to make they’re job harder but after useing my nogin lol I notice telling them will make they’re job easy and not telling them will make it harder, because it’s just harder to go thru a ban appeal then just say “there you go that grief is fixed, be more careful next time” so yeah, But lots of times I’m just checking for their claim so I can know they’re username, which i should probably use a claim check stick lol. What I will do moving forward is to use a claim check stick next time, and to just not break blocks unless it’s my claim or ask before breaking it, I can’t promise I won’t grief again. But I can promise I’ll let ya know next time I break a block. (That sounded less bad in my mind lol i will try my best not to break blocks) RE: Ban Appeal - SelfAwareDorito - 04-10-2025 Hi Poohbear7, Thank you for your appeal, I sincerely apologize for the delay. I really appreciate your patience. The issue with you breaking and replacing blocks isn't about making it harder for us as staff. Doing it makes it seem like you are covering up the evidence of your mistake. Generally speaking, it's much better to just own up to accidentally breaking something that doesn't belong to you, rather than fixing it and hoping nobody notices. With that in mind, we all have our accidents (myself included) as we're only human. If you do break a block you shouldn't've, please don't hesitate to let a staff member know. We’ll unban you this time, trusting that you’ve learned from the situation and it won’t happen again. However, please be aware that any future violations may result in a permanent ban. Welcome back to Hometown. Cheers, SelfAwareDorito |
