i hope that there would be a saving mechanic that prevents MY ENTIRE TEXT being removed when i switch pages on this website please

There is. You can save posts as drafts. Hit "Preview Post" and then "Save as Draft."

yes, this is probably your browsers issue (saving resources by closing the tab). Best to copy the text into you clip board to be safe next time when switching tabs.
