ok, i would have a Georgian manor on top of a hill overlooking a forest, any forest. It would have a tower sticking out the roof, with my bedroom at the top with windows in every direction. i would have a circular bed in the middle, and a stone spiral staircase that's cold on your feet. i would have a marble entrance hall, so well-polished you can see yourself, and when you take your shoes off you can skate in your socks. i would have a study with bookcases on every wall. encyclopedias, my favourite authors, the lot. and also a big old-fashioned map of the world. i would have a games room with an epic PC and squishy chairs. i would have a stone chamber so i can sit and play lute music with great acoustics, and invite my friends from choir to sing chamber music. that is my dream home.
