Uuuuh, so I just downloaded the new launcher and it wont load. I click it in my taskbar and it highlights but it then fades away?

So any fixes?

Also, a long shot; try loading the launcher from the Minecraft program folder (if you can find it), instead of the taskbar shortcut.

I have. It just started the old launcher.
Though I've gone back to using the old launcher now.

Yeah, but I have to use the old launcher and I would really like to be able to use the new launcher.
