#1
Now before I get this started, I know there are YouTube forums and subsreddits but I thought ...why not be more active in the forums

I have ambitions to be a YouTuber and it would be awesome if some youtubers that are in the server could share a few of there tips.....pleeeaaasssee?

I will share my YT channel on the forums when I have uploaded some more videos but for now it would be cool if I could get a few tips.... OH and one more thing

If anyone knows how to, How can I use the YouTube tags to get my video on the 1st page of results when someone searches for the tutorials that I do/am doing...OH and one more thing again

If anyone is good at graphics designing and/or like making those sorts of channel logos and channel art please could ya let me know and maybe make me something?that would be AWESOME Andy much appreciated

I have a channel, but it's not something I'm aiming for in life (so to speak), so I only do occasional uploads.

Tips, from my (limited) knowledge;

* Editing is important - cut out anything unnecessary & keep the vids as short as possible to hold the viewers' interest.
* If you have an intro, keep it under ten seconds (or preferrably less) or people will get annoyed & want to skip it.

That's about all I got for ya.  Anyone else?  ...

Haha! That's pretty cute, tho' - love the vertical aspect ratio.
Don't delete it - you'll want to look back on that for years.

I usually use fraps, you can use other screen recorders such as bandicam too.

And OBS is pretty good, and free. A lot of streamers use OBS, but it's also good for recording the screen, or a particular window / game / apllication.

Open Broadcaster Software .. Google OBS and it should be high up the list.

Here is my channel!
https://www.youtube.com/user/WhattaNoobie
Its's a channel me and my friends formed a while back.

I'm guessing this is what you are aiming for so a few tips I can give you is tagging makes little difference trying to get your videos to pop up in the front, its all about sharing it in social networks.

A major tip is to be consistent with your uploads, do like once a week or a few videos a week if you can handle that.

P.S. I haven't uploaded any minecraft in a while but I can expect something coming out soon once I make more progress in my towns and stuff.

Well 5-7 years ago, MC videos would net you hundreds of views but now that Evvveryyyonnne is doing them it's much harder to get noticed. Try looking at the content people are showing most and don't do that. What I mean is, if you want to stand out don't follow the crowd. I wonder if that goes against any of my next comments...?

Reply to popular YouTuber's videos with a video of your own. Like Re: YouTuber's Double-wide door. 3 years ago I got 250+ views on those videos. Nothing substantial I know but any amount over 50 is a milestone for me Smile.

You can do reviews of other people's builds on a server, and talk about your own. The server's users are more likely to visit if you post it on their forum, and may draw people to the server as well (like indirect advertising).

16 videos, 16 subscribers: Nearly abandoned:

243 videos, 2m Views, 1k subscribers: Miscellaneous things with MC buried amongst them. I believe many of the subs are fakes from the Sub4Sub craze, where users would sub then ask you to sub back (I blocked them instead).

To be honest, to get noticed, you have to come up with something novel. With thousands of channels, everyone can do simple redstone or design houses.
