OK PEEPS So since schematica hasn't been updated in literal years, there's another mod called litematica that is available but it has like 10 steps in order to download. Imma try and Give some visuals here to help out


EDIT::: Make sure there's nothing in your mods folder before starting!

Ok first off you're gonna want MC closed while you install everything or it wont work right- trust me lol

• First- go to fabricmc.net gonna look like this- click that link
  

• gonna lead you to a page with options- do these options
  

• Download the installer, run the installer
  

• Install
  

• ok now you need to download some other things- First off litematica itself- if you look up 'litematica 1.14.4' on google it should be the first result, but get it off curseforge
  

• Download link is in the top corner
  

• Next you're gonna need to click the link to get to the Malilib thing- so do that
  

• Then go back into google- look up 'Mod menu fabric'
  

• First result- curseforge again
  
• Now on this page you're gonna wanna go to files- don't download the latest one it won't work
  

• Download the second to latest one
  

• then when all those are downloaded, move the modmenu, malilib, and litematica into your mods folder on mc- to get there (if you're on windows) put %appdata% in your file search bar and hit enter, it'll come up with .minecraft, then there will be a mods folder, they go in there
  

• Then you should be good to launch
  

(choose the fabric option in launch options- it will have made its own file- I had pics but apparently you can only put 10 pics smh)

There is no paste option with litematica it just shows a ghost version of the build

It keeps crashing even though I've backed up and uninstalled my old Minecraft stuff to start on a fresh version. Do I need Forge for this? It kept crashing when I was using Forge too

Litematica only work with Fabric for 1.14. Make sure you also get the mod it requires to run, which is the MaLiLib library mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/malilib.

If that doesn't work, can you please post a screenshot of the error you are getting?

If that doesn't work, can you please post a screenshot of the error you are getting?

I ran through it again and had the same issue. It doesn't give me an error, but I did find it out looking at every single letter. Malilib kept giving me the download to 1.12.2 .litemod file, not a .exe, and I had to go into the files tab to grab the 1.14.4 version for some reason. Everything else was correct but that, so it works now!

I'm having trouble running Litematica. I have all of the necessary mods, at their most recent versions, but if I put them in the basic .minecraft mods folder then they don't load into the game.
Then if I try putting them in the fabric mods folder it crashes the game before it can even properly load??

I'm starting to get really frustrated... I just want to save my builds before the reset, but the reset is way too soon for this...

Unfortunately I don't know how to troubleshoot, I just know how to get the mod up and using this method- however the old server will still be up for ppl to save their builds- similar to how the old server reset was before. So there will still be time to access them even after the reset date
