Hi Hometown,
I'm writing this appeal because I want a second chance on the server.
A few days before the ban my brother's pc broke down so I let him use my pc for a couple of days. He managed to log into my account and use xray on Hometown. I didn't realize he did that until I logged on the server and saw my ban message. After I saw the message I asked him what he did and he had used xray on the server.
Of course I am to blame for him being able to log into my account because he used my pc but I never knew he was using my account and that he was cheating. I know that it was my account and that I should've been more careful but please understand that I never wanted to cheat on the server. Hometown is actually my favorite server and it's where I spend most of my time. It took me forever to build my house from scratch and earn all of the money I had. There is no way I would've risked all of that just to cheat for a couple of in game $ like the amount of time I had spent would have never been equal to any amount 
I already made sure it will never happen again and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get unbanned even if that means deleting everything I had. Please consider my appeal because I really miss the server and I would love to be a part of the community once again

Why do you want to come back: Tbh I've been thinking about the server for a while I joined a couple of other servers like snug or even donut but it never quite gave me the feel as hometown did alongside that I've spent So long in making my house and also had a decent inventory and balance I know that if I get unbanned by any chance I'll probably won't be able to keep any money it's not like it's a lot anyways but still I know it's the unfortunate reality but from the deepest part of my heart I beg u to consider this, I assure You I will make sure something like this Never HAPPENS again I know it's hard to believe but Please Please believe me

I guess I've seen more into how much serious this offense is Of course Reading through older Appeals for such Crime I've noticed close to none get unbanned and it's not like Im complaining I can clearly see why xray can be harm full and damaging to a server and I apologize for my brothers actions , I do know this that even if it wasnt me who used xray it was on my account and still damaged the server economy however I would still beg of you for a chance to be unbanned I know Your point of view may be that I'm lying or maybe you think it doesn't matter who it was I should still be banned But this server Was the first server where I actually started to enjoy the game and it was basically the first ever server where the people actually where friendly, So from the bottom of my heart I beg you to unban me, I don't know how much my brother took through xray but I'll pay it back someway I will somehow find a way if it means a possibility of unban

I dont really know what else to say other than that I'm deeply sorry for whatever he did but I would really love to experience the server once more hopefully you can see my thought fullness and understand it's impact on me and definitely I know once again how harm full it is and I'm still sorry for his action AND in fact my actions as I shouldn't have been so irresponsible and should have never handed it off

I think I'm starting to become annoying at this point but I'm sure you understand it's importance for me, 
I don't know but I'm sure you will appreciate more details leading up to the violation. (This is not to ask u to take any blame off me it's just for a high chance of being appealed) 

So basically my brother broke his computer and since I'm older than him I gave him my computer and just used my phone I had no idea he even attended to go onto mine craft or do anything however he did and then he went ahead and used my account for several days to xray and get rich I don't really know his motives it might have been to get rich fast or maybe to get me banned no idea however eventually and fortunately he was caught otherwise he would have harmed the server more, I came to find out about this ban when I received my computer back, I confronted him and checked the resource packs 

And sure enough I found out he had used xray and Im saying this again and for the last time so I don't annoy u so much but I sincerely apologize for what happened I take full responsibilty and realize I was irresponsible I'm willing to grind as much money it takes for me to pay back and I promise to not let it Happen EVER again And to contribute to the economy, 

I dont even know what has happened to my house my shop and everything I just miss it and hope to be back soon.

Thank you for taking responsibility for your actions, even though you stated it was supposedly your brother that x-rayed. Your account is your responsibility, so understanding that it was your error, makes this a lot easier.

First of all I want to say Thank you sooo much for understanding and yes IT was 100 percent my fault for letting him use my computer and I will do whatever I can to make Sure this Never happens Again as well as I take 100 percent responsibility of this violation now I'm not gonna try to distract from the topic at hand and I'm going to get right into the questions u have laid out 

How does x-raying harm the server?

This Question is a important one , because Xraying is insanely harmfull to a Minecraft server or a smp especially it's economy but not just that
 Xraying floods a server with mass amount of rare resources such as netherite and diamonds which results in devastion of the economy as players who take time to honestly mine and grind resources are at a disadvantage and also may be discouraged due to the unstable economy alongside that much like real life it can cause inflation as when rare resources become common prices increase rapidly ruining the experience for everyone in my opinion Using xray is stealing resources from honest players and harming the server directly 
Alongside that Xraying gives unfair advantage over everyone else. It lets me skip the time and effort that other players have to put into finding resources, which isn't fair and hurts the server."

What will you do to make sure your brother will not have access to your account in the future?

First of all I swear on my soul I won't let it happen again but nevertheless 
Ill make sure my brother can't access my account again I've already talked to him and my parents and  I've made sure it never happens again ill probably log out of Minecraft when I'm not using it incase he trys to take revenge for something random I understand anything done on my account is still my responsibility and furthermore ill make sure I responsibly see who goes onto my computer from now onwards 

What lessons have you learned from this incident

Ive learnt a lot from this situation 
Such as that I'm responsible for whatever happens on my account so I cannot Come Over here Again And say that My brother xrayed and then expect to me Forgiven since I didn't do it I've also learnt how that Xraying can be harm full and how much it affects a server 
A major thing I learnt was never EVER let anyone else Use your Stuff, cause in the end they walk out unharmed and you will suffer the consequences much like I'm going through or am going to go through, still I don't complain that this happened and am willing to pay it as I've realized that it's my responsibility

My apologies, some stuff came up IRL which is why it took a bit longer for me to respond.

Based on your response, I do have faith this won't happen again. However, please note that if your brother (or you) do x-ray again, there's a good chance your next ban will be permanent. Additionally, as is customary with x-ray bans, your balance has been reset to $0.00 and all diamonds/netherite goods have been destroyed.
