Running the market proved to be too much of a timesink for people to run - either the designated staff members ran themselves ragged checking up on the shops all the time, or the shops simply sat dormant for months on end. Since people are so fond of creating their own marketplaces to host shops in, we figured we'd let players handle their own marketplaces this time.
