Ban Appeal
#3
Yay a kindergarten exercise to continue the public execution of my character. Welp here we go, let's get right into it:

Did you give any of the materials to other players that you x-rayed?
I sold them to /warp za because they bought them for the most. That's who I was planning on paying back anyways if I get unbanned anyways. You have that on logs so that's my evidence. It wasn't anything personal for za they just buy for the most. I didn't "give" anyone anything, I sold them though. But since you wanted a 1 word reply: "Yes"

Why is X-raying bad?
I feel like the answer to this is obvious. It's an unfair advantage and lets me get a lot more diamonds (or anything else) a lot faster than I should, which is how I assume you figured out I was xraying to begin with. It also breaks the rules, which by the definition of "breaking the rules" is bad. I'm not sure what you expected as a multi-sentence answer to this besides "it's unfair" and "it breaks the rules" so there's my reply for this one.

How does X-raying affect other players?
It keeps them from being able to find the ores themselves and it drains their banks if/when I sell to them. Also I suppose it can make random holes in the ground that they can fall into if I don't refill the holes which is an inconvenience for anyone that can't fly. So "it stops others from finding the ores" "it lowers player's bank accounts" and "it is an inconvenience if I don't refill the holes" is my 3 answers for that.

How does X-raying affect the server’s economy?
Again, I feel like this is obvious, but quickly flooding a server economy with a large amount of high value items lowers the value of the item. Same concept as inflation in real life. Then again with how hyperinflated this server's economy is, I'm not fully convinced that it really affects the SERVER economy majorly rather than just players that I sell the diamonds to, because of how obnoxiously rich the top 10% of players are. But regardless, it affects the economy by lowering player's banks, and floods the market with high value items that are now lower in value because the scarcity of them is lower.

If you really need an item what is a better way of getting it than using X-Ray?
I mean if I needed diamonds the original way I was doing it was just flying around rtping in res and hoping to find a cave that hadn't been stripped bare. The only reason I started xraying to begin with was because I was tired of rtping and finding already stripped caves because the server's res world is only 6k blocks and people can fly at Mach 2 to rip apart caves it makes "easily obtainable resources" harder to find when they just get stripped bare within a few weeks. But I suppose if I really wanted to or had the dedication or memory to, I could grind votes for a year to maybe get some +1 vouchers and get an instamining pickaxe for deepslate and just do the same thing I do to get netherite which is just walk around at the bottom of the world and instamine in completely random directions. Or I guess I could also use one of the drills to mine a long slice into the world and just clear out the entire Y -59 of the res world to get the most diamonds. I won't, but I could.

My two cents on this situation:
If I don't get unbanned, considering the only thing I've invested into was a rank and some time, I'm not really that burdened. The concept of publicly viewable appeals are more of an embarrassment to me than just not being let back into the server. So if these kindergarten questions continue or you want me to next write "I will not xray" on a hundred signs or something as the next schoolyard punishment, then I'll just say "forget it" and not continue embarrassing myself further for the server's amusement or wasting my time with this appeal process. 200+ views on this appeal and only one of them was the person that actually can unban me. Can't wait for everyone that's the other 199+ to mock me for that! I do find it rather weird that appeals aren't a "private" thing so other random players (including people that don't have an account on the forums) can see the appeals and just mock you for getting banned after/if you get unbanned. Public humiliation of people's characters are a totally unprofessional way to go about appeals. I'd rather just have a 30 day ban and no appeal process than doing this like how most servers do it.
I've already said I had no excuses and expressed my remorse for xraying to begin with, I know what I did was wrong, and said I won't do it again. I'm not going to beg on my knees or go beyond any reasonable effort to get unbanned I can just move on if needed. I said if I get unbanned, I'll just reverse what I did. I'll pay back the diamonds I sold in cash to the person that I sold them to, and move on with my day. It was a stupid choice on my part that could be easily reconciled if I was in the server, so I'm treating it as such.
Anyways, Now that I've answered your questions and given my 2 cents on this, That's the last thing I'll say in this post. Thanks for reading and as I said before, I appreciate the staff team even if I did a stupid thing and broke the rules.

PS: Never assume someone used AI to make an appeal. Use an AI check. I myself use zerogpt.com but you can use whatever. I chucked my entire original appeal into zerogpt and it got a 95.6/100 that it was written by a human. Feel free to fact check me on that. If this reply seemed a bit more "snarky" and "sarcastic" than the before one its because the one I did that I tried to be professional on you assumed was AI, so this time I'm just typing like I speak: Snarky and Sarcastic. Anyways yeah, have a good day. Let's hope this reply seemed more human to you.
