Thank you for being honest; although I must say, I'm very concerned that you decided to test how it works on a multiplayer server when it would work just as well in single player. Since you joined the server shortly before you started x-raying, rule 9 should have been fresh in your mind - texture packs are allowed, x-ray packs are not.
I also appreciate the detailed response, although given it's a great deal different to your language in chat, I would remind you that you have to answer the following questions in your own words:
What is the impact of you using x-ray on other players? On the server?
How would you react if another player was x-raying to get an advantage over other players?
Why should we allow you to come back?
