Basically, loss.jpg came from the parodying of a comic strip that was abnormally sad (compared to how the rest of the comic was more comedy than tragedy). Many people put creative spins onto this particular comic strip in a mocking way which made it into a large-scale meme.

I decided that doing a minimalist minecraft spin on this would be a good idea. It's not a good idea. Don't meme, kids.
