Gazpacho is a type of soup specifically served cold.
If cereal is a soup, does that make milk a broth?

cereal is not a soup.

the cereal is added without cooking it in the milk, which means that it is not part of the soup itself. this means that the only part of a bowl of cereal that is soup is the milk, which cannot be soup by itself
