what happened to ban appeals i remember they used to be long and well thought out now they are just basically "sry i did _ i did not know it was against the rules"

It is just "it wasnt me, my _ hacked my _ and they did it"

Ah, yes, the golden era of ban appeals, when every appeal was a novel, complete with emotional arcs and plot twists. Sadly, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm for literary excellence these days.
That said, our focus is on the appeal's content, not its word count. If an appeal meets our criteria for honesty and accountability, we won't reject it just because it's not an essay. Ban appeals exist for players to take responsibility for their actions and apologize to the community or those they wronged, not to serve as entertainment or meet a word count. The goal is sincerity and accountability, not theatrics.

But hey, if you're nostalgic for the long ones, maybe you can start a "Best Ban Appeal" writing competition ;)
