Recently, Duty, a former admin, was banned. I want to be entirely transparent about this as I believe the community deserves to know when something like this happens and I don’t believe in keeping any secrecy about these topics. Duty was first barred re-entry to the staff team because after a lot of arguments and stirring drama, we thought that she was unable to display the common traits of someone that should be staff which include humility, taking accountability, being friendly and cordial with your peers, and not thinking that you’re above than anyone else.

Unfortunately, Duty was unable to take accountability or acknowledge any of the team members advise on any action and instead saw these kind statements as attacks instead and would respond back with attacks of her own. This would stir up a lot of drama and negative discourse from within the staff team and I decided that I would want to talk to her personally about this so that we could have her back on the staff team. At the end of the day, I was always rooting for her to be receptive of my gesture and unbiased conversations since I’ve always held high respect and admiration for Duty, but she instead did not take my advice and continually showed that she could not let go of personal grudges, take accountability, or even acknowledge anyone else’s perspective on this topic.

During this period where Duty was not staff, the then started a campaign to manipulate members of our community to do her bidding with messages like:
- “will you do something for me? Don’t say it was me”
- “let’s do [] to wind up the staff and community”
- instructing players to play along with her #suggestions that were submitted with the sole intent of causing staff “to sweat” and to stir server drama
- instructing players to ghost certain staff and send mgs to others to create drama and false rumors around the server.

These players that Duty targeted, after a few conversations felt uncomfortable enough to then report this behavior to staff. Because of the number of people reporting this behavior from Duty and the uneasiness of myself watching members of our community be manipulated to a point of feeling extreme uncomfortability to do someone else’s bidding, the rest of the staff voted whether Duty should be banned to preserve the safety and comfort of our community. This vote passed with all staff either voting yes to protect the community or abstaining.

Personally, I lean on my emotions to a fault sometimes and at the end of the day I was still rooting for Duty to be above all this and return to the community. I initially was against the ban, but after a couple final private conversations with Duty, I felt that this had gone too far and the ban had to happen to protect our community. Duty is welcomed to appeal the ban and a path to return is most definitely welcomed and encouraged. I have no intentions of shutting her off from this community permanently as at the end of the day I still respect and admire her.

This was the entire and full context of what recently transpired, and it was very disappointing and sad to see such a valuable and loved community member be banned. Nothing about how boar used to send me pictures of him posting my messages to wind me up. He did it as thought it make him staff.

In the end I was bullied off HT by Nether who lied and faked things to put me in a bad light and so much for the "staff team" who did not want me as I said no to people like Uber calling for a reset every update, so he could build a mega shop and become the richest.
Staff team, do not trust and most of all do not trust boar.

Also telling someone they "would talk to you tomorrow" and then nothing for 2 months from Frost just shows what a shit he is and can't spend 20 seconds to send a sorry message.

Do not play on HT like many other players and staff before, leave and be happy.

Since another player has been named in an attempts to deflect our attention and avoid taking any accountability for one's own actions... I'm going to provide some actual context to the claim made, to dispel any misconceptions around this player's involvement.

Boar approached Duty early on in her Vacation only to wish her well, and as you can see in the screenshot below, Duty seized the opportunity to use Boar to do her bidding:



This was only the beginning of a 2-month-long ploy to use Boar as her puppet to do her bidding and stir up drama in the server and trouble for the staff team, as Frost mentioned above, including but not limited to... 


Instructing the player to message staff with specific wording to best manipulate them into getting what she wants:




Instructing the player what to do in the server to try to ruffle the staff's feathers:




Making bogus #suggestions that Duty knows are not possible to implement, but doing so anyways only to try to stir up trouble for staff, or ''to get them into a sweat", as she puts it, and then instructing the player to play along and help escalate it:




Instructing players to ghost staff when they message them...




Instructing her puppet they need to lay low now and stop stirring drama on purpose for a while...





It was around this time that Boar began to get suspicious of the intentions behind these instructions he'd been given over the past couple months, that paired with the lack of reasonable explanations provided by Duty as to why she'd been held on Vacation for so long, Boar began to worry that he had been backing the wrong horse, and decided to approach staff with his concerns of feeling manipulated and used...




Then Boar decided he was going to confront Duty about how he feels used, and that's where he shares a screenshot of what he brought to staff, or as Duty puts it, "boar used to send me pictures of him posting my messages to wind me up"




As you can see, Duty feared only for how it will have ''set [her] back of getting anywhere'' (with regards to her return to staff), and zero regard for the player she'd been manipulating for the past couple months.


This whole situation was one of the main concerns that staff had with Duty's behavior while she was on Vacation, and when we approached her about it to discuss how this type of behavior does not represent someone who we would ever consider for the staff team, and how it was a major abuse of power from someone who held a very high staff position that players are supposed to be able to trust... Duty's response was not to deny that it happened, and certainly not to take accountability for her actions, but instead tries to deflect by changing the subject, and then tries to downplay the manipulation and puppeteering as ''chatting'' and ''banter''.



Do with that information what you will, but we hold no blame against Boar in this situation, as he has openly come to us with the entire truth, even when he said unkind things himself, and took accountability for his own words, and apologized. The same cannot be said for Duty, unfortunately, though we gave her ample opportunity to acknowledge that what she did was wrong and why we can't trust her anymore.

You say it's not, but I know you too well. 
Mel you are hard to work with, Admin should really just be back room pressing buttons. There should be a HR role, your people skills fall very short. Need to get out more, get working again. Sitting around playing MC all day is not good. Life will pass you by. 
Stay logged in for hours, sure you are sleeping and other stuff, this shows a real problem addiction. 
There are many channels you can get help.
Many have and still complain about you, but you brush it off as they are wrong.
Try to do something different for a week, bake, arts, read, music and not just beeps and boops of a pretend world. Let it go, as the song says. 
Anywho, I'm off to live life like I was dying.

I originally wanted to make this statement for transparency and openness out of respect for our community, but it seems that duty is only responding with personal insults to our community members in this thread which was part of the reason why this ban and demotion happened and not what I intended this thread to be.

I don't believe in censorship or hiding any details so nothing will be edited in or deleted, but I will lock it to stop the name calling and personal insults as this has gone beyond what I intended this thread to be and not what I expect or want our community to be represented by.
