Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): I understand the decision made, and want to deeply apologize for using an X-ray texture pack. there is no justification for it, even while doing so I felt as if i shouldn't, knowing it was wrong, but still did. Again, would like to apologize to the server as a whole. Since my last log in, i had removed and deleted the pack. There is no excuse for it. Its my first time playing minecraft in a few years, and seeing my friends being more successful and rich despite putting the effort in made me jealous, and my envy has taken me away from them.
i would understand the choice to not give  a second chance, however if I was to get one id be sure to make up for my exploits as much as i can. 

Why do you want to come back: In all honestly, the community is one of the best i have seen so far, Hometown has created a welcoming and relaxing space that i find myself invested in. in all honestly, the thought of being banned makes me miss the server, as well as my friends who recommended it to me. More than anything, id like to come back to show myself how to take it slow, putting in the effort and getting something rewarding out of it rather than using cheep tricks to make the game less rewarding and fun. I miss playing with my friends, and feel regret that my actions are the reason my ability to play with them in a server they like is gone. 

If i was given another chance, id want to give back to the community and server in whatever way appropriate. I understand the advantage, unfairness and affect my actions have on other people, and would be willing to repay whoever i could, returning all the items and money i gained.

1. Why do you think HomeTown has rules against x-raying?

2. What damage could allowing x-ray do to the economy of HomeTown?

3. Describe how you will legitimately make money if you are successful in your appeal?

X-raying itself is cheating, making the game have an unfair advantage to those who do, only benefiting themselves. This unfair advantage affects other players, as its quicker and easier to gain gear and rare items. This breaks the balance of the game and removes the challenge and effort that other players go through, as well as decreasing trust overall in the players and community. i understand this rule and its reasoning for being a bannable offense as X-raying requires a player to intentionally modify their game to exploit it, whereas some other rules could be broken by accident.

i understand now that X-ray affects multiple aspects of the server: Individuals, shop owners and the economy.
Like real life, if a market is flooded with excess of a resource it could lower their value, inherently undermining those who put effort and time in to gain the resource properly and fairly. In an server with economy, it makes it easier to farm wealth, and as a result other resources. It makes selling or trading less balanced. This makes it difficult for players to compete with players who obtained resources through unfair means.

If i was to be allowed back, I would probably focus more on the core gameplay of the server, as I do enjoy finding resources and playing on my own, rather than trying to gain wealth. However if i was wanting to gain money in a legitimate way, I would engage in the community and its events, Gather resources (the correct way) and sell or trade them, offer my services such as building, and voting (as mentioned i enjoy this server and its community, the consequence of my actions has not changed this view, and I want to contribute to hometown.). I'd treat it as a fresh start to enjoy myself.
