I'm thinking of building a city on the new server, and I try to figure out the best biome for it to be in.

when looking for a good spot to build I usually don't want just one biome. I want to be at least near enough to two others for resource purposes. I can see building in the desert as long as you are near other biomes like savanna, plains, or forested hills.
Just enough of a Bastard to be worth liking.

I feel like the desert because you can do a lot with modern buildings as well build hotels and casinos and do a lot of cool stuff for the public of the server it would be really cool and for me was successful with hometown city it lasted for a long time for me and made me a tone of money its a great place to do it and there are so many possibilities with sandstone

I support the voters who chose desert, I had a temple as a shop (unfinished) and cobble walls 100 blocks out and it looked really nice with cobble watch towers.
Nobody builds a city in desert so it would be memorable.

Yea, maybe if I build part of the city in a desert, and then other parts in other biomes. The only thing I don't like about the desert is it's pretty ugly grass colour and all the sand (xD). But it might get very memorable as Undormant said, I'm gong to think about it
