Similar to the Noob Hut Removal Request Thread, this thread is for when you've found land that is claimed by another player via a claim hut, but the land they've claimed has gone untouched for quite some time, they haven't made much (or any) progress in the area in a while, and you feel you could put that land to better use.

Well, you're in luck! It's a little-known rule that claim huts actually can expire if the claimer isn't putting the land to good use. (see /warp claim, down at the very end, for another reference)

Warp Reclamation Thread

(new guidelines!)

This is a new thread for players to be able to apply to reclaim warp names which have not been utilized for a period of time.

Warps are only eligible to be reclaimed if they are to be used for shops, farms or any other type of public service. Warps for towns, builds like statues or homes will not be able to be reclaimed.

A warp may be eligible for reclamation if it meets one of the following guidelines:

1) The owner(s) of the warp has(have) been inactive for 9 months or more.

2) The owner(s) of the warp has(have) been banned for 6 months or more or permanently banned.

New Guidelines:

For the following new guidelines, these restrictions apply: only common/generic warp names, such as after Minecraft blocks, items or services, will be eligible to be reclaimed.

Examples: /warp iron, /warp pickaxe, /warp farm

3) The owner(s) of the warp has(have) not built anything for the warp for 3 months or more, such as if the warp leads to a box with a sign that says "coming soon!" or something along those lines, or leads somewhere as a placeholder that is not related to the name of the warp.

4) The owner(s) of the warp has(have) arguably abandoned the warp for 3 months. (meaning, the shop/farm/service is no longer useful to the population, due to lack of stock, etc., to be determined at staff discretion)

The goal with these new guidelines is for warps named after common blocks/items/services to be used for active locations, so that new players looking for these things actually find them when going to these places, instead of finding an unused/inactive/unstocked warp.

Warp reclamation works on a first-come-first-serve basis.

To apply to reclaim a warp, reply to this thread with the following information:

IGN: melaniebeedot (your IGN)
Warp Name: /warp dye (the warp you want)
Old owner's IGN: TheOnlyKat (the old warp owner's IGN)
Inactivity time of old owner: 10 months

If your application for reclamation is accepted, we'll respond on this thread and let you know, and we'll get together with you in game to get it moved for you, and you will be required to pay the normal warp fee.
($1500 for Member+ and $1000 for VIPs).

If you were the owner of a warp that has been reclaimed by someone else, and you return to the server to find it's now belonging to someone else, we can reimburse you by giving you a new warp free of charge.

WorldEdit, Please?

As most of you already know, WorldEdit is normally only used on this server for server builds, or on the occasion that a player is being requested to move their build due to a claim dispute, an admin may move it for you if it is particularly large and inconvenient to move.

"But I'm half way through building this huge tower and I just realized I'm 1 block off!"

"I wish I had built this house just 10 or 20 blocks to the left, it would've worked so much better with my town layout."

"Boy it would sure be convenient if I could just pick up this base and drop it on the other side of the map to this new cool spot I found."

Now, thanks to a recent player suggestion, we will consider helping players move their builds with WorldEdit for cosmetic reasons! For a nominal fee, of course.

$1 per non-air block

For a //cut only (blocks go poof, are not //pasted anywhere and do not get returned to you)
$0.50 per non-air block

Any entities being moved with the build: $1,000 per entity
*this includes mobs/animals, but entities also include things like item frames, artmaps, maparts, paintings, and armor stands

If you would like staff to consider your build for a WE move, you may post a New Reply to this thread (limit of 1 WE move per player per month) and include the following information:

1. the coordinates where we can find your build, ***including the world name*** please mark 1 corner with a distinguished block
2. the rough size of your build (length x width x height) at the widest points
3. the coordinates of where you would like your build moved to, ***including the world name*** please mark the same 1 corner with a distinguished block to align exactly where you want it

The admin team will review your request and decide whether your build is eligible to be moved with WE, and if it is, we will contact you with a fee estimate.

Disclaimers:
- Only things YOU have built may be eligible, we will NOT move/cut naturally generated structures or land or mobs for you.

- This request is limited to a copy and paste of the building exactly how it is, no other WorldEdit functions may be requested to help construct or replicate the build. Rotate may be requested as needed to turn the build.
- This thread is NOT meant to be used as a loophole to moving mobs yourself. If your BUILD happens to include mobs that you would also like moved with it, that's fine.
- Not all builds may be eligible to be moved with WE. Eligibility is entirely at the discretion of the admin team.

Build Removal Request Thread

Have you ever found the perfect piece of land to build on, and perhaps even begun to build, and then discovered a tiny shack, a noob hut, a minimal effort little wood plank box, or part of the foundation of a house that was begun by a player who seemingly never returned to the server, and your plans for a grand base are now hopelessly foiled due to the 100-block rule?

Have you ever allowed someone to build near you, only for them to never return to the server for months and now their build is taking up space in your area and you'd rather use that space for something else now?

Fear not, for we the staff team have finally decided to implement a protocol for removal of these builds that are cluttering up prime real estate for no reason!

If there is one such build near your base and you would like it to be considered for removal by staff then you may post a New Reply on this thread and make your request.

The build in question would be considered a "noob hut" if it meets one or more of the following guidelines:

1. 10x10 or smaller
2. Minimal effort invested, primitive materials used e.g. dirt, wood planks, cobblestone
3. Unfinished foundations e.g. floor/no floor, walls/partial walls, no roof/partial roof
4. If the player is banned, they must have been offline for minimum 3 months
5. If the player is not banned, they must have been offline for minimum 6 months

***New Guidelines for Larger Builds***:
6. If the player has been banned for minimum of 1 year, the size limit is not a factor
7. If the player is not banned and has been offline for minimum of 2 years, the size limit is not a factor.
(All eligibility decisions are still at staff discretion and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.)

To determine who the build belongs to, you could ask an Expert+ to use /co i and see if there are any block logs, or, if there is anything locked with a magical spell, e.g. chest, furnace, door, use /bolt info to find out who it belongs to. Then you can /seen the player and see how long they have been offline.

Here is an example of a noob hut:
10x10, primitive materials, unfinished foundation inside (no floor), not banned, offline >1 year

Here is another example of noob huts:
smaller than 10x10, primitive materials, unfinished foundation, not banned, offline 8+ months

Builds that are not considered noob huts:

1. Completed builds larger than 10x10
2. Full bases of players that have been offline several months
3. Some noob huts are markers for underground bases

Here is an example of a build that is not considered a noob hut, and would instead fall under the New Guidelines for Larger Builds section:
build(s) are complete and larger than 10x10, considered an established base regardless of primitive materials used

To put in a request to have a build considered for staff removal, please post a New Reply or use the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the page, (do not try to use the "reply" button on this post, it will give you an error).

Please include the following information in your request:

1. your in game name
2. the coordinates of the build in question: x y z worldname
3. the coordinates of the part of your base that is closest to the build in question: x y z
4. the name of the player who owns the build in question (if known)

**Disclaimer: Staff have the final say as to whether or not a build is eligible, regardless of the above guidelines.

We recently received a suggestion from a player that we thought was a great idea, so we’re going to begin implementing it immediately.

If you have a warp that provides a public service to the players, you may be eligible to have said warp protected with an admin claim to save yourself the claim blocks. You as the owner of the warp would still have full access to build and trust whomever you wish as normal.

The kinds of warps we have in mind include xp and other farms, as well as pvp arenas, whereby you would unclaim and get your claim blocks back and an admin claim would be placed instead.

The warp must be public and free to all players, no paid access.
The warp must not have any kind of private farming collection on the side, all products must be accessible by the public.

Aside from these requirements, any warp submitted for consideration is subject to the staff team’s discretion. (Meaning we have the right to decide if it qualifies or not, over all)

If you feel your warp may be eligible, post a New Reply on this thread with your in game name, the name of your warp, and a description of what public service it provides.
