They read it wrong, it's not my problem, you bid over them, and won. It stays at 13.1k

I don't see it as a mistake, you were bidding while making a claim for him to end his auction early. You were then outbid, then you rebid. The highest bid is the highest bid, there is no ifs regarding this.
