Howdy everyone,
I would like to suggest an alteration to the rules/guidelines of the Art of Fragility build competition. First I want to say that I missed the rule book at /warp build and started doing something that I'm going to keep building even if it isn't considered for the competition. In no way do I feel that my mistake is enough to warrant a change to the rules/guidelines. Maybe it can be added to the mazes as a unique fun maze or somewhere else for the server to enjoy.
I kinda deleted the arch in the plot and have started a very glassy project. It was a couple days later (today) passing /warp build that I noticed the rule book and read it. I understand that its totally up to me to find that and abide by it, but I think its worth asking if there is room to budge on the arch part. I feel like this may open up to some more creative ideas from other players if they do not have to have the arch. Making a change this early in the competition shouldn't affect the time window for completion and still give ample time to make something. A time extension could also be solution if a change was decided.
I appreciate your time and consideration!

Hi, while I won't be changing this rule, it's important to note, that some rules, are more important than other. The 1st (about working on the build only during the event), 5th (max team size) and 6th (that the main focus has to be on glass) are the most important rules, other rules are more of warnings or strong suggestions. Not following the arch rule might put you in slight disadvantage, but you don't have to be woried about being disqualified.
On one side, it's an art competition and I don't think art should have rules, on the other side, having to follow some rules or limitations makes it more challenging and interesting
