If this means that seeing the future is not determinded from your or other’s actions, but stays like it is no matter what you do, then yes. As there is no such thing as ”luck.”

A. You’ll become one of the colonist’s sent to Mars in 20 years (if you live that long tho)
B. But you wont be returning to earth and all the other colonists will be boring as hell

Why not? Just send more colonists over (less boring of course).
