i know i have nothing to do with this or whatever, 
but i dont think he meant x-raying ores, like not that type
i think he meant as in he used x-ray to look through buildings to examine them more closely

like the x-ray mod, has a gui in it which allows you to select which blocks you want to see, like normal x-ray but with the chosen blocks.
