Expounding on the land claim topic, you seem to have misunderstood the purpose for which we have that here. Land claims are here to serve as an anti-grief tool, nothing more, nothing less. Being able to reduce the workload for staff members is a very welcome side effect, but the chief purpose for installing GriefPrevention, and ProtectionStones before that, is simply that certain kinds of grief are not trackable and such not fixable by normal means, or are otherwise extremely problematic to fix (*cough*itemframes*cough*). As such, we will never implement claims as a hard requirement for land.

Secondly, expiring land claims defeats the entire purpose of having land claims in the first place. What good is grief prevention that stops preventing grief when you aren't around? Dormant claims can easily be removed by staff members, there is nothing to be gained by automating that process.

Third, as for flight, that's too deep-seated to remove by this point. While I'm of the opinion that flight has no place on a survival server, it being here predates just about every player here except for probably Frost himself.  That's the sort of thing you can't ever let in to begin with if you intend to bar it from use. We do have things in place to restrict flight where it's simply too powerful, though. Flight is not allowed in the End, flight is not allowed in server events and minigames (when we actually had minigames), flight is either temporarily disabled in newly generated resource worlds or the world itself just has its treasures stripped out of it as the current resworld has, and so forth, but we can't remove it.

Fourth, u wot m8? The new world is not even 2 months old. We don't give a wit about "exhausting content", we're here to build in a survival setting amongst people we enjoy talking to (or at least tolerate having around). Experiencing content is what single player and small private servers with friends are for, and even then that's only good for one or two times. "Content" is fleeting. Many of the people who are here have stayed exactly because we don't just go around wiping things all the time, our last reset was borne only out of perceived necessity after three years. Proposing a reset at any time in the foreseeable future will likely just get one laughed out of the room, carried upon a wave of wheezes and boisterous guffaws.
