Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): Sir first of all sorry for using x ray  .I want to be unban bcoz i made many loyal friends in this and I can't leave them forever and I am also vice mayor of town elysium. IF I banned forever I lost all of them that pain I can't bear so plz unban me and as I heard staff always give second chance to any player so staff plzz give me second chance I will not repeat this mistake . I am very sorry for the X-ray I did. I know that X-raying is bad on any server because if people X-ray, the whole point of the server would be useless. I was very foolish to make that mistake and end up getting banned. So I promise never to use X-ray ever again. I just made a silly mistake and promise never to repeat it. I just wanted to test it out once and my foolish mind made me do it too. The reason behind it was that I ended up mining 3 stacks of diamonds yesterday and I thought I could mine more by X-raying. Now I understand my mistake and apologize for the stupid thought. I wouldn't ever do it again in my life.

I think almost every minecraft server has a zero-tolerance policy on x-ray because it can make a person wealthy by selling ores and would make normal hard-working players poor. People can use it to become rich the quickest and it isn't a fun way. That's why every server should and already has a zero-tolerance policy on x-ray and x-ray like mining activites.

2. How does x-raying and x-ray-like mining affect other players? How does it affect shop owners? How does it affect the server's economy as a whole?

X-raying and x-ray like mining affects other players by making them do the same as if people become rich from x-ray, then others would also want to become rich quicker and they would all end up x-raying. It also affects shop owners because they are honest and hard-working. They let us sell ores in their shop to make us wealthy. But if people using x-ray sell ores, they will sell thousands of ores to the shop owners and they would be forced by their economic condition to make the ores cheaper to sell. It might be the reason to end the whole server and its economy. It would be very misleading that every person will start to use x-ray.

3. Why should a second chance be given to someone who was well aware of the rules and chose to break them anyway?

A second chance should be given to someone who was well aware of the rules and chose to break them anyway because mistakes are made by people sometimes. And they might even forget some important rules. Sometimes every people make mistakes. And if the mistake is done while remembering the whole rules, a second chance can be given because second time they won't ever forget the rules ever again which made them banned and the incident and fear would be pasted in their brain forever. If a regarding person gets second chance and get unbanned, they might even be better than before.

All bans are permanent until/unless we accept your appeal.

X-ray bans in particular take longer to decide on because it's one of our most strict rules, we have a Zero Tolerance Policy on x-ray, it is made very clear from the moment you join the server, so players that still choose to break the rule are not going to have a quick and easy appeal process.

The ban appeal format page tells you the same thing, if you read it:




We give specific questions to encourage the banned player to think about all aspects of the choices they made and how they affect everyone else, not just their own balance. After the player has answered the questions we review the appeal as a team and discuss and decide as a team whether or not we will accept the appeal. This takes time, as we have staff across multiple time zones, who have lives outside of the server too, so we give adequate time for each staff member to read and review the appeal and comment their viewpoint and then we take a vote.

The more you hassle us, and flood our DMs, and beg for unban, the less likely we are to be sympathetic and forgiving to your case. The ban appeal format page specifically tells you: 5. Be patient and 6. Don't ask staff to review your appeal, and you've done both now, multiple times over the past 24 hours, begging for an unban in multiple staff DMs.

I apologize for the spam I did to your DMs. I was just eager to get unbanned. I am very sorry and understand my mistake. I promise not to spam messages on your DM and feel sorry for all the spam and the rules I broke. I promise not to break them and this is the appeal. If you want to message, you can but if not it's ok. I just know my mistake is unforgivable.
