Reason for your ban: Use of X-Ray

Why should you be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned for several reasons. First, the actual date of my ban was several years ago. I certainly believe I have served my time away from the server, and I am ready to come back as a member of the community. Second, I have not used any form of X-Ray mods, hacks, or resource packs since my ban. I have changed as a player. I value hard work and reward over simply always having the items I want. That's what creative mode is for, and I recognize that now. I'll admit that this ban was totally justified. I was using X-Ray to find diamonds and give myself an unfair advantage over other players. However, I'm not here to appeal the grounds on which I was banned. I'm here to say that I've changed as a player. I will not repeat the same mistake. I will not cheat in survival. I will work for my achievements. I will not break the rules. I will follow them. I will not transgress admins or any other staff member of this wonderful server. I will do everything that I can to prevent another event like this from happening again if I'm granted one more chance.

Why do you want to come back: I want to come back because of how much I miss this server. I didn't realize it before I was banned, but Hometown was quite literally becoming my home town. The sense of community here was amazing. I made friends, I built a town, and I was thriving. For some reason that I'll never know, I decided to cheat and risk throwing it all away. That's exactly what happened; I threw it all away. All I need is one more chance to prove that I've changed. To see the friends I made again. To see my small town that was thriving. To see everything that I've legitimately worked for on this server. I understand that X-Ray appeals are rarely accepted, but I hope that I can be an exception, for just one more chance.

Reason for your ban: Griefing/beacon stealing

Why should you be unbanned: I havent played mc for awhile but my friend (lazyrenegade) got me back into it and i was unaware of all the stuff added so i thought some of the new stuff they added is temples? since i saw the beacon i assumed i hit the jackpot. The only reason i assumed this is because i found a sunk ship with buried treasure which i thought was neat. i am also very aware of what i did wrong and would be more then happy to return all items, since it is still in my inventory

Why do you want to come back: i had just bought VIP pack 2 and me and said friend from above have gotten a nice little village setup and i would like to continue to be apart of your communtiy.

Why should you be unbanned: I don't believe I stole from anyone with malicious intent, and if I did take something without permission I apologize for my violation of the rules.  I had thought that when I took things from chests at warps they were stated to be free and available for the taking, but due to my ban I now know that I should explicitly ask the owner again as to ensure not being banned.  I would like to know the specific instant that it was perceived I was stealing in, so I can personally apologize to whomever I wronged and prevent this from happening again.

Why do you want to come back: Hometown is essentially currently my favorite server and the community in most cases is entirely nontoxic and makes me want to keep playing.  I simply wish to build on the server with my friends and put this ban behind me, as I will never again violate the rules that I have now been reprimanded for.  The players on hometown are among the most friendly I've ever played with, and I simply want to be a member of this community once again.  Thanks for your time

Why should you be unbanned: All people should be given second chances to prove themselves. I can be upfront and honest with knowing that my actions were definitely intolerable (not to mention childish). I can understand why it would be frustrating to see that someone's work was defiled and can understand that I would not want the same to happen to my own property. I really wasn't thinking at the time of committing the crime, not even being respectful to the mods and the rules they placed. I would gladly like to return everything back to a staff member along with a face-to-face (steve-to-steve) apology for griefing even when I fully accepted to abide by the server rules.

Why do you want to come back: I spent quite some time and helped my fellow friends that I frequently game with. They were willing enough to move to another server just for me, but I don't want that for them. They spent time on that server and love everything about it. Nor would I want to leave the server (I love it). 

Even if I don't get unbanned, just know that I am sorry for not being mindful and for being utterly disrespectful.

Why should you be unbanned: well i havent played MC in about 5 months.. came onto this server and donated 45$ because i enjoyed it. and there are still some items in the game i havent seen oreven know what they do. So i saw a "Trident" in a chest and didnt know what it was so i picked it uip and started playing with it..( i knew stealing was against the rules)- wasnt my intention.. I ended up right clicking while holding it and it threw the "trident" and therefor the "trident" disappeared not able for me to return it to the chest.. Was a accidental mistake.. Not perfect was just curious about the item and it got thrown and never seen again..

Why do you want to come back: Spent 45$ 3 Days before i "stole" a single trident. and got banned for a mistake.

Why should you be unbanned: I destroyed the block unknowing of the consequences and I would like to come back. This will be my first and last ban, so I would like to be unbanned, I completely regret my actions and hereby swear nothing like that will ever happen again.

Why do you want to come back: I am the mayor of a town I started yesterday, 14 people live there and I would like to return to my town.

Why should you be unbanned: I will not do it again and even before I have learned from my mistakes. One time I was banned for griefing and I then never griefed. I have learned not to be racist.

Why do you want to come back: I really love Minecraft and Hometown. I love playing multiplayer survival. I have built and worked on hometown a lot, Ask anyone. Please unban me.

Why should you be unbanned:
I understand what I did wrong, I know im not allowed to take things from unclaimed builds and to grief. I know you are not allowed to do anything to any unclaimed build. I understand this is my own doing and I regret it, I know now that just because it is unclaimed, doesn't mean it is mine. I apologize for what I've done.

When it comes to me X-raying, I didn't really think about what the consequences would be and why X-raying may cause an issue for the entire server especially economy, as it goes for what I have said for griefing, I apologize for what I've done.

Why do you want to come back: I have been an active member on the server for awhile, I have a few friends on the server that I would not like to lose, and would love to continue supporting the community with those friends.

Over the last couple years I've noticed that we often get people join and ask if we are a towny server. I looked into it and we are listed as towny on three server list sites that I've found so far.

While there's a chance that more people would check out the server if we had more tags, it feels underhanded to claim to be a towny server when we don't use any towny plugins.

While I see no negatives to making this claim (we have towns anyway, just no plugin to manage them), we are still lying about the server. What does everyone think about this?
