Why should you be unbanned: I went along with a friends(BigSloppyCack) plan of stealing the beacon and as the land was not claimed I assumed it had been abandoned. I apologize formally to whoever said beacon belonged to. 

Why do you want to come back: I've invested time into this server and had previously been enjoying the atmosphere of the shops and the vmall.

Why should you be unbanned: you didn't say i COULDN'T steal the beacon, nor did it say it was anyone beacon and was not on someones land claim, i just thought i got lucky

Why should you be unbanned: I was very unaware that the beacon that was in the middle of the desert in the resource world was another players. I figured that is was randomly spawned by staff as a reward for venturing out. I mined it and put it in a chest as a gift to my friend. I did not even know I had stolen otherwise I would have left it. I was also unaware of the rules. They did not show up when I typed in the commands. So if there was something there then i missed it. If there was a sign that told me not mine beacons in any world then I may have missed that. It was completely unintentional. I had no intention of stealing or greifing another player and was even going to apologize. Unfortunately I was banned before I could say anything.

Why do you want to come back: I had just recently started playing Minecraft again and wanted to try this server to see how it is. So far it has been very good. There's lots of space for building and the two realms makes it easy to get resources. I like to keep the land the way it is as much as I can and I like that aspect of another realm. I Was just starting a little village with my friend who had just started. We had hardly build't anything. I was excited to build the treasury and finish the other areas of our build. I was only collecting resources when I found the beacon and took it as a reward for travelling so far. I didn't know it was anyone's and I am sorry. I am willing to give it back, its in a chest. I'm just starting out and want to continue to build and do more creative things and expand my creative aspect into our works.

Why should you be unbanned: I feel that I should be unbanned because I believe that I have learned my lesson, while Xraying I felt no joy in it, no accomplishment after mining the ores that I did. I feel that i should be unbanned because I regret my decisions and I wish to do better, stop myself from ever using the cheats that I used ever again. While cheating the ease of just jumping on and playing any server has gotten very hard to do and I am willing to change for this server and more than willing to change right now.

Why do you want to come back: My reason for coming back to this server after cheating is because after observing with the little time that I did I noticed that this server is very different from all the others, with its friendly community always willing to answer questions, and with its active staff always online while cheating I never felt a second where I wasn't being watched. By cheating and getting banned I feel that I have wronged my friends that I played with while I was online, the ores I gave them I didn't put any effort into getting them. And before I knew it I felt that I had done everything there was to do But now with a clear mind without thinking of using hacks as a resource I have found much more to do on the server, I am sorry for what I have done.

Why should you be unbanned: I honestly can't remember not replanting anything. I've used the farms many times before and always replanted. Might have been a lag error or it just slipped my mind at the moment?

Why do you want to come back: This is really a great server and I'm having a great time fitting in here. I've just joined a town and been helping out some players.

Why should you be unbanned: To begin, I haven't played Minecraft for a solid two years. Having just begun my senior year of high school, I figured it would be a good time to indulge in a blast from the past and check out how my former favorite game had evolved over the years. Needless to say, I was blown away by how much more content had been brought into existence, and I was launched into a few-day playing streak predicated by grinding and working my way back into the community of this great game. Feeling a strong urge to play simple, unmodded survival with a friend, I searched for the best vanilla survivor servers and Hometown, as I later found, was one of the best that I could have stumbled upon. I played for a few days, built a base, and became more and more acclimated to how the server worked. However, I soon became frustrated at what I perceived was an imbalance in how resources and in-game currency may be obtained. I could gather as much iron and gold as one could ever want, but when it came to diamonds, I couldn't seem to gather more than five or ten in an hour, and when some of the more desirable items in the shops sell for several hundred dollars, even thousands, I wasn't sure how to gather the resources in a plausible amount of time. That's when a more sinister memory from my old days as a young minecrafter hit me. There was a resource pack known as x-ray that would enable you to see the location of valuable ores beneath the surface. The temptation was too great, and coupled with the fact that the same resource pack from two years ago remained in my resource pack folder and remained functional, I began to use x-ray to mine for materials that I could use to pay for these seemingly unobtainable items. While I take full responsibility for both my actions as a cheater and the words I uttered after the issuance of my ban and do not expect any lenience at all on your part, I would be indebted if you would be so kind-hearted as to allow me to continue my re-integration into the wonderful world of Minecraft. This time, I promise, it will go unimpeded and unbolstered by lowly cheating such as x-ray. You have my word. I understand the disastrous effect that xraying has on a server such as this one. It completely imbalances the economy and ruins the rest of the community's ability to wholesomely enjoy this server that has been ran on honest, hard work since its conception. I have learned from this ban that there is no reason to spoil such a great use of my time, as explained below, with a sinister activity whose only outcome is negative in all its facets. 

Why do you want to come back: I wish to return to this server simply because it is fun. There isn't much to add on to that. However, such a short word carries quite a lot on its back. To find a server with such a small, tight-knit community that has not degraded into the all-too-common rank-driven oligarchy is nothing short of a singularity. Therefore, when I reflect on the time I spent on this server, I realize that I made an enormous mistake poisoning my chance to indulge in an activity as rare and wholly entertaining as this. In short, I want to come back because life is too short to waste time on bad Minecraft servers, and if there is no possibility of me returning to this one, there is no reason for me to return to Minecraft at all. Many would say that I shouldn't be spending time on this game at all at my age, but they have not seen a server the likes of this one, the survival in which is conducive to learning skills reaching far beyond those of a simple computer game. All in all, I hope with sincerity and humbleness that I may be readmitted to this server so I may enjoy what exists to be enjoyed, this time with a chip of honesty on my shoulder.

I'm here asking for your favorite sayings! My favorite right now is probably "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." I use it all the time at work, and it fits pretty well with just about anything I do.

What are some of yours?

I'm new to multiplayer mc and this is my first server, but I'm excited to be here and ready to build. You might find a few boarding houses sprinkled around the world- I usually build them as pit stops and welcome anyone to use them. If there is a way to make public chests and forges, please let me know. Also, if anyone could recommend me a how-to with the server basics (not just the rules, I got those down pat, I mean more like warp recommendations etc) I would really appreciate it. Excited to play with you all!

I think there should be a staff of the month event where player vote for the different staff members at the end of the month to choose a staff of the month. It would be a good and cool event.
