First of all, the link to the subreddit.

The Minecraft suggestions subreddit on reddit is the website to post or upvote suggestions for future versions of Minecraft. Some of the suggestion which have been implemented are:

• the villagers becoming witches when they are struck by lightning ;
  
• asymmetrical player skin ;
  
• rainbow beacon ;
  
• spectator mode ;
  
• etc...
  

• Update to the ocean with new kind of guardians, small ocean, and others things ;
  
• Mushroom stems obtainable
  

So, after the colors in chat were recently re-added, chat has been lighting up with them; this is a problem, as it causes unnecessary spam to other players. I would like to propose an idea: in the best interest of the server, I believe that spamming colors in chat, without the purpose of ads, should be treated the same way as caps and spam. It has recently become an inconvenience to observe in chat.
I've noticed other players on the server have become aggravated with this occurence. The reasons the community themselves have provided through in-game chat are as follows:
-It is becoming increasingly hard to read global chat when people spam colors.
-People with sensory overload issues have a hard time because of it.
-It is unpleasant on the eyes.
-It is becoming a very common occurrence.

Why should you be unbanned: Well, in almost every way I shouldn't. I did use x-ray and I won't argue that. I just really want a 2nd chance. I don't want to make my cousin b_m_b move servers again. We've been to many servers because of servers being shut down, or one of us being banned and the other coming with them to the next server. Sorry, I'm getting off topic. I guess the only reason I should be unbanned is so my cousin doesn't have to leave your server. (wow thats a great reason... no chance...)

Why do you want to come back: It was fun on hometown. I enjoyed my time and I want to play on it with my cousin again. I know the answer is probably no, but please, give me one more chance.

     I know if I am unbanned I will be on probation and have some sort of punishment. The x-rayed materials will be deleted. I'm ok with a temp-ban, I just want to come back. I regret my actions and hope you let me come back. <3

I've been meaning to make a build showcase for awhile now, so now seems about a good a time as any.

A little backstory to the following structures:

I've been constructing this town on and off since the server restarted. I was constructing the same town prior to the restart, but I am much happier with my progress on this version (and happy that the restart occurred before I finished too much of the previous rendition). 

This town is called Lorn and it is a solo passion project. The town is named after a fictional country from an ongoing story project of mine (titled "Guilt"). Many of the structures inside the town are loosely inspired by structures and locations within my story. The castle is especially inspired by Guilt, and is named Bellis after the capitol city of Lorn.
I plan to include additional imagery of Guilt throughout this town-- some of it can already be seen in my banners and the windows of the castle. The image of a single mountain peak with a burst of light above it is very specific to Guilt in that residents of Lorn believe their god Sapiens roosts at Lorn's highest peak.





This is the first structure I made on the server following the reset. It's an inn that I've dubbed "The Black Dragon Inn" (coined for the dragon head on the sign). The entire inn was made before I had the use of /fly and I died from falling off the roof many times (unaided by the fact that one side of the inn overlooks a rocky cliff).




The land around the inn has been largely terraformed, but retains a lot of the original shape of the area. The most obvious changes to the landscape I made were on the right side of the torch-bearing dragon statue. The area to the right of the dragon was originally much flatter, so I raised it up to create more of a bowl shape.



My biggest goal for this town (and the reason that it is a solo project) is that I want everything to blend together in a similar style, including the terrain. This area here will eventually be a sprawling market section of the town. The floating clay outlines indicate plans for future buildings.





Easily the largest (non-terraform) structure I've attempted, this castle will overlook a large swath of the town. It's taken a metric fuckton of stone and wood to construct thusfar, and it's not even close to completion.



The library, the only part of the castle that has been (partially) furnished thusfar. I don't want to start most of the furnishing until the outside of the castle nears completion (the entire castle, like all of my buildings, will be fully furnished), but I needed to include the bookshelves to figure out how to go about the stairs that cut through the library's upper floor.



Many of the cliffs surrounding the castle have been terraformed, leaving a large open area beneath the entire structure.

Some people I have been doing builds for may be wondering why I have no0ot been online since like last Thursday . Well here is why. I have had a major case off the flu. I have been bed ridden for days , and I still mostly I , I am just feeling slightly better. hopefully I can  be back online by this Friday or Saturday. My doctor says this is a horrible case of the flu one of the worst he has seen this year. I STILL WILL NOT GEWT A VACCINE ( personal beliefs talk to me about it I will give you input)but yeah. please wish my luck and support. sorry to those I have been unable to finish builds for , marry Christmas happy holidays, happy new year. I was banned for making such a high bet and I suck at spleef and my PC sucks.. Oh and I forgot to give Frost his waffles

Ohaiyo everyone, it's been a very long time since I've last played Minecraft!

After seeing the cocoa exchange on another thread thought it might be a good idea to make a spot to exchange cooking recipes in general. I personally like to cook and like to try new recipes. So, to begin, below is a vegetarian friendly soup.

Chipotle Corn Chowder
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups vegetable broth                     1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
3 cups frozen whole kernel corn              1 1/3 cups evaporated fat free milk
2 cups chopped green bell pepper           6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chopped red bell pepper               1 package (12oz) Morningstar Chipotle Black Bean Crumbles
2 cups sliced carrots                                8 ounces American cheese
1 teaspoon ground cumin                       cut up parsley sprigs (optional)

Directions
1. In dutch oven combine broth, corn, peppers, carrots, cumin, and cayenne pepper. bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. (if you don't have a dutch oven, use large sauce pan)
2. In small bowl whisk together milk and flour. Stir into the hot mixture in saucepan. Bring to boil. Stir in crumbles. cook over medium heat until crumbles are hot, stirring frequently. Add cheese, stirring until melted.
3. Ladle chowder into bowls. Garnish with fresh parsley sprigs.

Alterations
You can swap out the bean crumbles for any ground meat.
You could do this in a crock pot just cook every thing but milk, flour, and cheese together on low for 5hrs. When nearing done, ladle out some of the broth into a saucepan and add milk/flour mix into hot broth to make a gravy-like broth. Return the gravy mix to crock pot and let cook another 1/2 hour then add cheese and mix until melted.
