Hey guys and gals

So after about two years on hometown ( almost ), I have finally taken the time and built up the guts to make an introduction! 

Firstly, no matter how cheesy this may sound, this server has really had a positive impact on my life. It's provided me shelter when I go through tonigh times and let's me unwind and feel compelled to help others. Ive been staff on several other servers but honestly I have never EVER seen a staff a snack loyal, as dedicated or as amazing as the hometown staff. Amazing amazing job! This is the best server I've ever seen! Excellent job! You can really see all the effort that is put into the server and I hope that some day I will be able to help out with this masterpiece too. 

I try to be as responsible and kind whenever ever I am online. In fact, I have recently been giving out thousands of dollars to new players in game to give them a boost when they first play in hopes that they learn to spread the kindness.

So more about me. When I first joined the server way back when when my friend chriswizard told me of this server's greatness. I tried it out and I LOVED it. However, despite all the intense chat going on, I felt that no one really noticed me (some times I still feel that way ) so I made it my goal to be as welcoming and involved with others as possible. I love making friends and am quite goofy! 

I hope that as time goes on, I get to meet more and more of you, because this is truly a great opportunity for all of us. Pls say hi I'm forever alone XD. I'm not just a fun guy to talk to, but I'm pretty good all around. I can build well, sell well, fix well, and love mini games! 

Anyway, I rly hope people get to know me and I just want to say that this server means so much to me. I'm a VIP 3 and recommend you to purchase VIP, not only to get in game perks but support the server and show your gratitude.

Server I was banned on: "Hometown"

Minecraft name: xXiMvPiXx (changed to "anyung" on November 9, 2016)

Reason for my ban: "Try me, bitch" (Likely vulgar language/ trolling)

Who banned me: unsure

Why should I be unbanned: probably shouldn't be

Why do I want to come back: Friends are playing, I wish to play with said friends

(Apologies for the non copy-pasted section, the ban was incurred while the account was in possession of a friend.  I will however try to fill in all the applicable information.) This account was loaned to a friend, as my version of Minecraft wasn't working.  Said friend then proceeded to likely say something vulgar/ against server rules, and was promptly banned.  It is not a good idea to compromise a Minecraft account's security by giving out the username or password to another person.  I also take responsibility for the things said while the account was not in my possession, as it is my responsibility to make sure that only myself alone is the user of the account.  I have since changed the information associated with the account (username, email, password), and let my friend be aware that I was not impressed with his actions while he was using my account.  I would also like to apologize to anybody who was offended by the things that my friend said.  Thanks you for your consideration.

Probably going to sound petty but im just going to point out a spelling mistake for staff members to fix in /rules:


"Do not build anywhere neara"

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone on this server!

Up until a few months ago, I have only ever played in single player creative. Hometown is my first multiplayer experience and it is leaving the absolute best impression! I've learned so much more about the game in general, about building mechanics in particular (the builds here are inspiring!), and how people interact on a server.

Both staff and players have been extraordinarily helpful (the staff and mods are very efficient and professional- major props!) and actually pay attention to those who want or need help in the chat. The economy isn't horribly skewed to either extreme, the map isn't too crowded (yet), and I've had a very minimal amount of grief... especially compared to other servers that I have tested out since.

Thank you so much, and I hope this server continues to be a wonderful example of SMP. I plan on sticking around for the long run!

hello i really hope someone reads this i am very sorry for what i did. I will understand if you do not forgive me. why i got banned was for greifing a public farm. It was an accident and i am very sorry but the reason i got banned was because my computer gltiches when i get near half blocks like hoed pieces of dirt. I felt happy at home town and was really upset when i got banned   . If you forgive me or not i will still never forgive myself. If you let me back onto hometown i will be fine if you take away all my stuff and not start me with starter money. I love hometown and always will if you accept this or not and i feel so lost without it.There are so many things i love about Home town the staff the people and just the sever in general i promise i will vote every day i'm on and do the best i can to tell everyone i know to play on home town. Home town will always be my favourt sever if you let me back in or not.

I have been playing and LOVING this lever for the past week. I saw an argument on the chat and they banned a friend of mine. I then made my second message in chat EVER, "ADMIN ABUSE".  I was perma banned..... the i was told "what you think doest matter"(a friend screenshotted for me). https://gyazo.com/610b96e2ed95745c66f860298d622859  . please, i love this server unban be!

This was an old forum game based upon the game of the same name from "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

The premise of the game is to offer a innocent scenario and a typical observation of said scenario that creates a lewd double-entendre for a relationship. (Star's Edit: NSFChildren [not safe for])

For example:

Player 1: Things you can say about your car, but not your GF.

Player 2: The tail-pipe is all torn up and it makes weird noises when you turn it on, but it's still usable.

For some reason, when copying a picture from my gallery and pasting it here the picture doesnt show when the post/thread is posted. In previewing the post/thread its there, but when i post, it just puts in the file of the picture instead of the actual pic. Any advice how to fix this?
