Why should you be unbanned: I love the server, its calm. Everyone is happy and has fun. I can't find really any server that has the admin/mod connection with the players as this server has. And good catch Wolfe. Yes I use X-Ray, but I don't benefit myself from it. All I want to do is get building quick because the time I get is somewhat limited, I am married and have a kid. So the time I am not busy in real life with real life things I like to come on and I barely get time unless I am working night shifts. I only have used xray to get the blocks I need to build. I used to own a server forever ago and just built willy nilly. Little harder now due to not having my own server and a set of responsibilities that I do. I hope I can join back in the fun with you guys.

Why do you want to come back: I guess I ran on with the last part, but I can understand your policies. I respect them. I just suck at survival and no one is ever in the creative world to appreciate the builds that I do. I built the Bismark and its fish tank on the creative server and it just sits there :\ I want to feel appreciated with what I make and I want it to be seen. I am sorry for breaking the rules and I am sure I will have damn near everything revoked and taken from me for breaking those rules.

Hi everyone, my name is Kenny, otherwise known as kekokek the waviest ex-admin ever.

I played Hometown for a while about 2 years ago but left because it as my starting year of college and with my girlfriend and school in the way I didn't have much time to play, so I left my position as Admin and said my goodbyes.

It's currently my second year and a fascination with the game has brought me back, specifically here because no other server really compared.

I do see some old familiar faces which is AMAZING to say the least, it's great to see some people have stuck around all this time. For those who I do not know I'd love to get to know you all. Cheers!

Why should you be unbanned: I didn't grief and i didn't mean to say the offensive word. i didn't know it was against the rules. 

Why do you want to come back: Because this is a really fun server and i don't wanna be banned.its fun to play on.

So for those of you who didn't notice, I have been absent for about a month. Do not worry, i am not leaving. I decided to take a break from everything after some shit happened, and since the end of summer i have been trying to sort things out.

Last year i did my GCSEs, which are exams you take at 16. I was waiting for the results to find out whether i could go back to school, whether i would be allowed to take the subjects i wanted to do, and also some job applications at the time relied on these results. Over summer i got increasingly nervous.

On top of this I was having some big time girl issues. Basically, girl A thought i liked her, and got her friend girl B to talk to me over facebook. She wouldn't shut the fuck up, and kept dropping hints every other sentence. I didn't want to appear mean so i tried to have a normal conversation. I actually had an interest in girl C, who I went to a couple parties with and i have known for a while. At one such event, i actually spent the night with her (nothing dirty happened) and somehow word spread. I am pretty sure girl A was angry, while girl C told me she didn't know how she felt about me. Up until coming back to school, i basically had facebook turned off to avoid interactions.

At this point i was getting edgy, and after some other shit happened i decided to quit hometown. I gave my account to a friend who has now left my school, and I got on with school life.

Back at school, I thankfully got into the courses i wanted to do. I thought this would distract me, but in fact i began to fall behind on work. It got to the point where i got home from school and did homework relentlessly until going to bed at night. No time for hometown, planetside, reading books, or even practicing guitar. I started avoiding people at school because i didn't want to talk to them, until eventually i found out girl A now has a boyfriend! She was sure to remind me many times of this, to the point where i swear she approached me just to tell me she didn't care about me anymore.

Meanwhile it turns out the reason girl C was unsure of me was because she is also interested in another guy. She won't tell me who it is, but it is blatantly obvious that he knows who i am. She says that she wants to get to know me better and forget about the other guy, but i don't know how much of that is true, or whether she has told the other guy the exact same thing. She is a really nice person, and i would be very surprised if she lied to me, but I still have my suspicions.

Added onto this was the effect of several of my close friends leaving school, and the other shit i mentioned earlier. So sorry guys for not being here, and forgive me. I'll be back soon.

I've been making my own Resource Pack, and I was wondering if anyone here would know if it is possible to change the sound of a chest opening and closing. I have the two files converted to .ogg already and have tried to rename them as chestopen.ogg and chestclose.ogg and put them into random sounds folder replacing the originals but the sound does not change from default minecraft open and closed sound.

Hey y'all, I'm working on getting warp banner up and running. I've built most of the building, it needs some work but it's mostly done. You can check it out if you'd like. 
It needs some sort of splash of color, in my opinion; I'm thinking a big tree in the center. Thing is, I'm crap at building artificial trees, so I'm looking for someone to build it for me. 

We can talk more about the specifics if you're interested. It will be a PAYING job, with materials (but not tools) provided. I don't know how much yet, but we can talk about something reasonable.
