Hello hometowners I have thought up a really nice idea and I hope you like it enjoy

So heres the idea, we have a youtube channel (I think we should use the existing one) dedicated to all things hometown.Here is how this channel will work we have a application posted somewhere on the forum where people can apply to be apart of the channel.
Here is what I would make it look like(Note: The Rank Requirement may change):

What type of videos will you post on the channel?:
Do you have previous youtube experience?
Why do you want to be apart of the hometown youtube channel?:
How often will you post on this channel?:
This application may be modified also the responses will need to be longer than a few sentences. Also once a new youtuber is selected they will be required to make a test video on private on the channel to see if the video is of decent quality and not recorded on a phone or something like that. Once a youtuber is chosen they will get a youtube rank in game this rank allows the player to block out chat and pms while recording while still allowing them to type commands in. It also notifies people when they are recording. The new youtuber will also get the channel password to access it if they abuse the channel they will be punished (idk what it would be because if they mess up the channel they arent doing anything wrong in game). Also they must follow all youtubes rules if they get a strike on the channel they will be punished. We would also need artist to make thumbnails and channel art. Now this all may be cool and all but what are the gains? Well here they are.
-Gives a unique attribute to hometown that no other smp server has
-Can have a impact on the players joining the server because they know they are on a server that has something others dont
-Gives players a reason to vote
-Gives players a chance to share there creations/experiences on another platform while still being able to play with friends and on the server they like.
-Gives the community something to look forward to watching on youtube from their favorite server
-People will start collaborating with one another to make a huge collaboration videos stregthening the community as a whole
-Spreading the server around youtube will get a higher player base
So this sounding nice well keep reading there are some other cool benefits people that dont have forum accounts can get alerts through youtube like if the server is down or the server will have an event soon, also this has a benefit for frost to because he can showcase any new features he feels like adding. This also gives a platform for trailers for events or new pluggins can go. The youtube channel not only will serve as a great way to connect with eachother but it will make hometown a more social and less split group of people because we would be able to see everyones progress and amazing builds in the game. So those are my thoughts if you have anything to add or say PLEASE say it below and i really hope this ends up happening I would LOVE to be apart of this so please consider frosty <3 Much love ht -donk

You I'm back from my vacation and I will restock on everything in my shop and I can't wait to get back on and I missed you all right now so I will be on tomorrow around lunch time or so but its good to be back and I like I said I miss you all friends

So I was going to spawn on a skeleton horse and ride it into the wild because I didn't want it.  Then I realized I forgot a saddle so I tried to warp to my house and it won't let me off.  A few people have said it has happened to them, including Butterpig12345.  They have tried to push the horse to an unprotected area, because I keep getting notifications that if I dismount here, I wont be able to get back on.  When I try to put a saddle on the horse (if someone brought me one), it says I cannot do that there.  The horse also disappears when I leave the server. I can't move at all, and I'm wondering if staff can do anything for me.  If you need me I'll be at spawn

Do You Want A Server Reset Of Some Sort?



This would mean a reset of the Overworld & its Nether (maybe the end) or some sort of thing like make a new map, leave old one, just flipping the table and scraping it all, or combanations, I just wanna know what people support

I have been breeding a whole lot of villagers, and now I have a lot of good book trades and many ''normal'' villagers aswell. I'm wondering if I should build a iron farm or an ebook shop first. I'll need a bit more time to build the iron farm.

Well, hi! This is my first time to see the new server soon, and I hope I can relive some old memories with new a newer community!  

He posted in the chat "gay people shuld die" which is highly offensive seen as though I myself am gay... People told him to stop but he kept on saying inappropriate and homophobic comments. He needs to be banned because his behaviour disgusts me and some of the other people on the server...

Hey All,

I was just on the server and a few people were chatting about a server reset. Surely you've all seen the other thread and I'm just posting this to say that it will probably come down to a vote of some sort and we will all have to share our opinions. Just letting y'all know so you have your opinions ready and consider all the positives and negatives for either side. I hope the best comes out of whatever happens!

Since I could not, and no one could, with good evidence, get a hopper and a minecart to cooperate on the server, I believe it is quite reasonable to fix this redstone bug, though not specific to the server, with hopper minecarts. Whenever the minecart fails to put item into hoppers or vise versa, the hopper minecart will do the job. 

Let me make an analogy here, if you are the CEO of a power company, and recently one of the power plants had an accident and is shut down, perhaps for a year or perhaps permanently. But one thing is for sure, you cannot say to people "just live without power until the plant is back running". You find alternatives, and so I should get hopper minecarts to replace the chest carts in my auto furnace, since it turned out, pure hopper and redstone is also flawed. 
Also recently I've been trying to build public furnace arrays and not succeeding through this redstone bug.

As a matter of fact, I already have one running my brewer array because Shis could not get the hopper to put any ingredients into a chest cart.
