Reason for your ban: No idea, logged in and shows Im banned.. Maybe cause I typed /warp resources diamond. Went there and saw diamonds I thought it was an admin placed area. So I assumed that since the land not being protected I thought it was just resource anybody can grab like "warp resource coral" or "warp Resource oak trees"... Maybe that was the cause...Im not entirely sure because right after that I was just working on me and my friends base....
Who banned you: Illogical
Why should you be unbanned: Was unaware of the /warp areas... next time said person should put protection on land or atleast inspect what kind of /warps other players create and greenlight it so any further mistakes would be avoided..also on another note give a warning or some sort of strike system on the severity of "griefing" since I mined only 10 block which is not even 3 minutes of work really. If I had griefed to the point of the area not even looking recognizable anymore then yes Ban me or that person for griefing, but a simple accident of taking some blocks should not equal to a full ban...
Why do you want to come back: love the idea of that server, the whole convenience of resources right at your fingertips while allowing survival mode and creative mode combined to a balanced out gameplay, not too frustrating and time consuming as pure survival and not too easy like creative mode...
Why should you be unbanned: Hello! So, I’m home from college for Thanksgiving week and I brought my laptop along with me to complete homework and play Minecraft with my friend _Kauliflower_ (who is also on this server). My older sister — who is also home for the holidays — is an avid player of Minecraft and I’ve been letting her use my computer to play whenever I didn’t need it (_Kauliflower_ is also fully aware that my sister comes on my account to work on our house sometimes). What he, nor I, were aware of was that my sister downloaded an X-Ray pack and was using it to hunt for materials. So, after the mirpalicious account was banned on Tuesday afternoon, my sister came and told me what happened — knowing I’d find out. So, uh, I was rightfully upset. And I have told my sister’s she’s not allowed to use my computer for gaming purposes any more.
I asked her how long she’d been using the mod to harvest materials and she said only on that Tuesday afternoon — as resource harvesting was going “painfully” slow. I asked her specifically what she reaped with this mod, and she was able to estimate about a stack and a half of diamonds, a stack of iron, and 10ish emeralds — all now stored within the various chests I share with my friend.
So, yes, I’m… EXTREMELY sorry about this. My sister was not the one who went through Hometown’s test in the beginning — it was me — so she wasn’t aware of this server’s no X-ray rule. Nevertheless, she is not allowed to use my Minecraft account again. Thus, if you choose to lift the ban, this would never happen again.
As for me, I completely understand the negative repercussions a player using the X-ray mod can have: it’s unfair to the other players who put in the labor to acquire resources legally; and it can completely screw with the server’s economy by oversaturating the market, further harming other players monetarily. Cheating is obviously never the answer, especially when it harms others to do so.
Why do you want to come back: My friend and I have spent a lot of time building our little home — all of which was completed with materials we acquired through the marketplace or by gathering legally. And with the pandemic, Minecrafting on this server has allowed me to connect with my friend and bond over this shared experience together. I am super thankful to be able to hang out with _Kauliflower_ on this server… and honestly I’m extremely distressed that it now hangs in jeopardy.
I really enjoy this server’s interface and I wish to continue to build our home here. I assume full responsibility for my sister’s actions — as it was I who let her on my account — and I will accept the repercussions. However, I would love another opportunity to be a part of this community. Thank you for your time and consideration.
As you all know I'm the Founder and host of the inaugural Townie awards here on HT. last year we only had a measly 12 awards, Nicest Person, Best Builder, Best Overall Warp, Best Farm, Best Town, Best Shop (general), Best Shop (Specific use [i.e Armour shop]), Best Build (build Comp), Best Artist, Best XP farm, Best Skin (player IGN), and Most Helpful player.

Why should you be unbanned: I can explain my situation. So, I had been using a Minecraft account that I didn't want to be using anymore, so I gave all of the items in my chests and such to my friend in the server. I left the server with my old account and then logged in with my new account, ny4g1t0 since my old user, n4g1t0 was used. I got all my stuff back from my friend and began to use the server like normal again. After voting I tried to log on the server and it says I was banned.
Why do you want to come back: Hometown is the only server I really play on and I enjoy playing on it with my friends and such. I have my own room and a cottage and a lot of artwork that I would like to admire as I usually do. I'm really happy playing on Hometown and I don't really know why I was banned but I would like to go back as soon as possible.

Reason for your ban: "Beacon base grief @resworld 1943 65 78"
Who banned you: AmbularD
Why should you be unbanned: The beacon that was placed at those coordinates in the res world pre-existed the farm that was built nearby. I am the owner of the beacon and the blocks associated, and the mine was griefed in my absence. There are tunnels underneath the beacon that i built, and it was plugged up by the owner of the farm who used my beacon for free, and in turn griefed my mines.
Why do you want to come back: I Play on the server on a regular bases, and i have many builds i genuinely enjoy to spruce up and i like to be a part of the community. I am wrongly banned, and i know this because i am the original owner of the beacon. My mineshaft was griefed first and my blocks were taken advantage of without permission
in addition, i know that it's probably not possible to believe my first statement that i am the owner of the beacon, as when i originally placed it down, it wasn't claimed. I felt it unnecessary to, since i've seen a lot of people's beacons prior who have placed in the res world and haven't claimed it. I'm not sure if it's possible to confirm it or not, but i'll just hope you could believe me on this one lol
I came back to the server just last night in fact, to the spot where my res world mines were setup to find that the mine was plugged up from the surface. I found the villager farm nearby somebody had created, and i assume they were the one who griefed my mine. I Felt it polite to instead of directly reporting it, to just place some signs asking them to not do that again, but i suppose it was just deemed inappropriate.
either way i hope this can get resolved cleanly. The beacon itself pre-dates the placement of the farm by a considerable amount, of which i personally laid it all down and i'm the owner of the beacons and the blocks.
Why should you be unbanned: To be honest, I was walking straight through to the end of tutorial and I didn't really read through the rules board. Then, I randomly jumped into those answers during the Q&A section. At first, I saw the big village on the surface, but then I walked into their base, seeing so many goodies, and I can't stop the greediness inside me Then I started taking their map arts down, eventually I found there are chests that actually not locked by magic, it tempted me even more. I'm apologies for the actions I made, and promise it won't happen again.
Why do you want to come back: I'm new, I haven't really explore on the server yet. And I wish I have a second chance

Why should you be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned because I was in a hurry to deliver a package to a customer. I had no idea how to fully replant the nether wart farm and tried to replant the excess I had. I admit that I was lazy with wheat. I should have replanted when I did not.
Why do you want to come back: I want to come back because I am genuinely interested in playing Minecraft with this community and this is where I feel like I belong. I want to make a positive impact and did not realize that not replanting would lead to a ban. I hope you can forgive me.
