Hello, Hometown community!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for being patient while I worked on this project. This is just the beginning, and I’m continually seeking new songs to contribute to our community.

Today is April 2nd 2025 and while I am writing this, today marks 10 whole years since I first joined HomeTown. Now, if I were to ask myself 10 years ago, “would you still be playing HomeTown in 10 years time?” I probably would have said no and laughed. Although I took a break from HomeTown for a period of time, I still find myself thinking about what it means to be back here today.

I joined HomeTown back in 2015 from a friendship group from another server. We were moving away from the ‘other’ server due to issues at the time, I remember not wanting to join this ‘new’ server and asked my friends why we couldn’t stay. They explained to me we had to go because of the issues and funnily enough, the new server was HomeTown! So, thank you to Brockist, Seb and Sox for bringing me to this wonderful server I have had the joy of playing on for years.

Over the years I have had numerous friends and friendship groups; too many to count now at this point. But a fair few have stuck out to be true and good friends over the years which I still keep in contact with today. Now while I can’t name them all I just want to say a loving thank you to Chicken, Pengu, Nuked and 4th. Thank you for being my friend all these years since we met and being able to watch each other grow.

A special and deserved shout out to the original staff team I joined in December of 2015 and the way we evolved over the years until 2020. You all have a special place in my memories and I don’t think I can ever forget that.

For those of you today, thank you for being my friend and welcoming me in. A special mention for Nether, Dorito, Vix, Choco & Pyro for being those I get the pleasure of being friends with today. I appreciate all your kind words and support you give me <3

To those who have left along the way. It's a shame that you've left, or had to go. You've been a part of my life and most definitely left some changes behind. Some have left some serious life long lessons behind which I have learnt from, because experience is what teaches you. I will hold these lessons close.

As of today, April 2nd 2025 I am lucky to say I have a whole new set of friends again. I am back on the staff team as an Admin and look forward to whatever comes next. Thank you to everyone who makes HomeTown a special place to be.
