Greetings everyone!

I have recently started doing nightly giveaways where I distribute thousands of dollars to anyone who wants it. However, it is rather difficult for me to sustain this practice and work on my own projects simultaneously. To combat this issue, I have opened /warp charity, a place where anyone can donate to my cause so that I can continue this service without having to spend three hours a day diamond mining. All items are appreciated, but especially diamonds, slot tokens, and enchanted books.

Why should you be unbanned: I am not sure how to say this without it sounding like an excuse, but I'll do my best. What I did was very wrong. Although I never read the server rule about reselling, all of the shops I have done it to have had signs that say things like "Items are not for resell," but I ignored them. I understand if this Neglecting-The-Rules ends up being a permanent ban, but I really hope not. If I get unbanned, I will study every single rule, and read every sign I ever see again. Please consider this Ban Appeal. I will never, ever Re-Sell items ever again, nor will I ever break the server rules, or warp rules ever again

Why do you want to come back: I love the community, the style of play, the fun plugins, and one of my best IRL friends spends a lot of time on this server, and I enjoy playing with him. This is probably my favorite Semi-Vanilla Minecraft server I have ever played on. It would mean a lot to me if I were unbanned. Thank you for taking the time to read this Ban Appeal.

Reason for your ban: Giant Inappropriate Build

Who banned you: Ender (about 2 months ago)

Why should you be unbanned: First, I am very sorry for the large build I made as I forgot that this was a family-friendly server and that it might be a bad influence for other players. In hindsight, I realize how immature the shape was nonetheless the size of it. I believe that I should be unbanned because I have changed and realized my mistakes. I had a lot of fun on the server and I don't think the childish side of me should ruin my experience.

Why do you want to come back: I spent some time building a really cool house and had a lot of fun playing with my friends. I want to continue building my home and delete the innapropriate build so I don't ruin anyone else's experience.

Why should you be unbanned:  to be honest I've never really gotten off on a good start with the server. I got banned the day I joined and regret what I did ever since. Back then for me wasn't a good time and it wasn't in a good state. My friend recommended me the server a long time ago and said we should play together. This was back when I first got Minecraft mainly to play on the server with my friend. I was new to the game and extremely overwhelmed. Back then I didn't have the time or dedication and self-discipline to do anything. I have learned from my mistakes and won't do it again. After I got banned I was in a panic and did not know what to do so I got scared and copied someone's Ban appeal. These things just added up to make matters worse. From then I improved my self and am capable of doing things the right way.

Why do you want to come back:  I want to come back to be able to add to the server. After I was banned I never really got the chance to play with my friend on there either. Ever since then I felt bad and felt like I let them down. I've met more people who played on the server and from what it sounds like they've had an incredible time on there.  Like I said before I just want a second chance to be able to be with my friends and add to the server. I'm okay with whatever happens next but I was in the wrong for doing everything I did before. I hope you'll consider this after everything I've done.

Problem:

Diamonds have been used previously as a commodity currency, because it fits the criteria for one: low availability, high usefulness. Any kid with an xray script go straight for diamonds as they join, that's already the understood norm. Diamond gears would wear and break over time, and that helps fight inflation.


But update 1.14 essentially kicked diamonds off the throne as the ultimate commodity. Because now, diamond gears are so easily acquired from villagers. All it takes is literally a few stacks of pumpkins/melons to get a complete set of diamond gears by trading. As of now, single diamonds have little usage anymore. The only uses for diamonds now are: enchanting tables (already available in lots of public places), jukebox (1 diamond per jukebox, not a highly sought after item), and fireworks (ok this might be useful)

For servers based on competition, diamonds still hold some sort of value. But for us, a cooperative server, alternative resources are already easily accessible by all.

What can replace diamonds as the currency backing?

As of now, the best contender would be emeralds. Diamond gears and lots of useful items can be easily acquired by emeralds, making it function perfectly as a commodity. However, emerald's issue is the high production rate, therefore very susceptible to deflation.

But 1.16 introduces the perfect replacement, netherite. Truly limited and not easily farmable, production rate is controlled by the reset of resource nether. Also functions as a sought after commodity to upgrade diamond gears. Surely after some time, it will be abundant, but demand will also rise with supply.

Conclusion/Proposal

Netherite ingots should replace diamonds after 1.16 update to be the backing standard for currency

 It's time for another Hunger Games! This time we're playing with an all new map built by potato! It's inspired by the arena in the Catching Fire Hunger Games movie! You will get $150 for each person that you kill. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the event. Here's how you play: Everyone will start in a pod iunderwater. When the game begins the doors will open and everyone will run/swim into the map. Everyone will then start to search for Armor, Weapons, Food, Potions, and Blocks. During the game players will fight to the death. You are allowed to pick up other people's loot! Once there is only 4 Players left alive the DeathMatch will begin. Each player will receive their own /warp to the arena via /msg.  We also have a way for everyone to spectate the games after they die! You can use /warp spectate to get to the map and you can use /warp deathmatchspectate to get to the deathmatch arena (these /warps are only used by spectators)

Saturday May 16th 11:00 PM Central Time.

Where:

 Go to /warp hungergames. If you die you can go to /warp spectate, if you want to watch the deathmatch go to /warp deathmatchspectate.

Rules: If you break any of these rules you will be permanently banned from the Hunger Games.

1. No Commands like /tpa, /back, /ptime, /fly, etc.

2. Do not abuse any glitches, flaws in the map, or use hacks of any kind.

3. Do not cross the BAMBOO. If you leave the map you will be disqualified. And do not try to get in after you have died.

4. Come with an empty inventory. Do not bring weapons, armor, food, etc.

5. Teaming IS NOT ALLOWED. If there is teaming of any kind you will be disqualified. This includes giving other people gear.

6. Do not abuse the spectator's area or try to get back in once you have died.

7. If you accidentally glitch into the map before the game starts or while you are spectating please warp out. Don't wander around.

Why should you be unbanned: i am not going to lie. i did know what i was doing. i had just started and i needed resources. 
what i did was wrong and it wont happen again.

Why do you want to come back: i love the server and the community.

I was just wondering because I wanted to check up and see if one of my old friends who got banned years back ever made an appeal and did return without me knowing.
