Why should you be unbanned: I've been playing on hometown for years now, since 2013. I quit Minecraft a while back and I decided to play again during this period of time on quarantine. Although I admit to wrongfully xraying, there are no justifications for my actions, not only did we cheat ourselves, we cheated the server as well as the server economy. I made a huge mistake that unfortunately i have to take the consequences for. While being laid off of work I decided to entertain myself back onto Minecraft with all of my friends. Since hometown was not only my favourite server, but the only server I played on, I would like to continue if I was ever given the opportunity to do so. Hometown has an incredible community that many other servers lack. For example, even being given a chance to appeal my rightfully so ban shows the care the admin and staff have for their community. I admit to wrongfully xraying after a friend of mine told what it was but given the circumstances I sincerely apologize for my cheap, dirty actions. I understand what I did was wrong and I made a huge mistake resulting in a huge loss for not only myself, but my best friend. I would love to continue to play on this server with no problems being involved. If I was ever given a second chance I would guarantee that X-raying would never be used again as I already deleted it off my computer (I can take pictures to prove it). Nonetheless, I understand what I did was wrong in so many ways, after taking this time to reflect upon my actions I cannot express the deepest amount of apologizes I have for my actions. It would be an incredible blessing if I can learn and grow from this experience and continue to play Minecraft with my best friends while we all have the time to do so. With whatever decision that has been made, I would like to thank the community for the support they have for their players and I also respect whatever decision that is made.

I was accompanying my friend who was showing me where items were because I have fortune and would get more items. I, myself, do not know how to xray whatsoever but realize that accompanying someone who does it is just as bad. I am bored on quarantine and have been playing hometown since my younger days and didn't take into consideration who I would affect and how it would affect them. I realize playing with my friends on quarantine and respecting other players is a lot more important than me gaining minerals in a game lol. It was immature and takes away from other players and it won't happen again. This only happened for a short period of time around 2 days, today and yesterday. All other stuff is legit.
I would like to come back because I enjoy hometown's community and my living area with my friends. Hometown gives me a way to entertain myself while on lockdown. I realize being with my friend gives us an unfair advantage compared to other players and i would like to continue playing with my other friends and building our community we have started.
Hi, I've found the chat frequently spammed with joke auctions recently.
You maybe be saying, "/auc optout," but the problem with this is that it is only certain auctions which are problematic. I do genuinely wish to see other auctions, but the joke auctions with renamed items get annoying at some point. They take up a lot of space in chat and are brightly colored. Again, I do not want to /auc optout because it would leave me out of genuine auction notifications that I would not like to miss out on.
I am not sure of a solution to this problem as of yet, but I thought I might start a discussion on this issue.
Hi everyone! I never really introduced myself but I am Kandee12, I have been playing this server since around August of 2016! But I have been playing minecraft for a lot longer than that, probably since 2011! In August of 2016 is also when I met a lot of my good friends, specifically flufflecakes (awelaa)! I really love this server though! It's not like the rest of them, its so much better. It's the type of server I always feel welcome and at home when I am on. Everyone is so kind and players still recognize me from when I played back then! I haven't played in a little over a year or more so I thought this would be appropriate to post since I came back onto HT this week! I just wanted to come on here and introduce myself! The long overdue return of miss "Flufflecakes" has come around. Flufflecakes was my first Minecraft account I used from 2011 up until 2018. I first found Hometown in August of 2016 where I met a friend by the name Kandee12, who I have kept contact with ever since and have now returned as Awelaa along with.
After about a year of playing, Hometown became a distant memory, as I slipped out of the online world and was faced with the real world challenges that needed to be addressed. Corona Virus quarantine has birthed a new era for Flufflecakes and Awelaa. It's good to be back. Hope to meet a lot of you guys. Feel free to comment!
Why should you be unbanned: Banned. This is a position I thought I wouldn't be, nor wanted ever to be in again. I'm very sorry for the plot I took part in, and I'm sure iiiMonkey did not mean for it to go as far as it did. However after seeing the outcome, how it wasted both our/the staff team's time and resulted in his permanent ban, I realize that this was an immature action that got us nowhere better than where we were before. I had warned him in a discord PM that it might not be a good idea (screenshot should be attached to the post, but otherwise I can send it to you on Discord if you would like) but he insisted, and in the end I agreed to it because he is one of my friends that I even used to go to school with, and because I was only playing a minor part that couldn't be too harmful. Yes, we had our occasional talks about who we thought was actually X-raying and who was not, but it was entirely his idea and the only part I served was to be online so that he could /msg me that he had found ores and that "staff will think [he's] cheating." However small the part I played, though, I was still a part of it and I'm deeply sorry for the troubles we've caused. I have learned my lesson and I understand that this was a pain in the ass for you to have had to deal with, but I hope you will consider my appeal. I know this is my second strike, and that if I screw up just once more, it's over for me. Though it would sadden me, I understand if you decide not to unban me and once again, I'm very sorry on both iiiMonkey's and my behalf.
Why do you want to come back: This server has such a great community that I've made many friends on. I've never, in my 6?7? years of playing Minecraft, encountered a server that I enjoy as much as I do this one, and I'd hate to have to leave it behind. I'd even accept a temporary ban if necessary, as long as I would be able to play on the server again.

Who banned you: I don't remember, I was banned five or four years ago and it doesn't say who I got banned by. It only says "Reason for ban: fuck you."
Why should you be unbanned: I get that you all might not trust me at first, but I'm truly sorry for griefing spawn. I was young and immature. I was mad that my friend got banned for xraying when she said she wasn't, so I decided to take my anger out by griefing spawn - this was in 2015-2016, I was still like 10 or 11 lol, I don't even remember. Once again, I'm sorry. If you decide not to unban me, please just forgive me.

Why should you be unbanned: I did something stupid and have been regretting this for some days now,i do realise that x-ray is not allowed and i should never have used it. I want to come back and redeem myself! i am very sorry and i beg you guys for another chance, a last chance! if i cant be unbanned i hope its possible to get my sentenced redused.
Why do you want to come back: I want to come back, redeem myself and have fun again! this server is good and have a nice community and i would love to comeback to that.
Why should you be unbanned: I should be unbanned because I did not x-ray, and I'm aware that this ban is no appeal. But I must say something. Ever since I was banned, I learned my lesson, and never touched a cheat again. I was falsely incriminated, and I know I'm not the first to be. I was never used X-ray at all since December. I've learned something though. I don't mean to sound rude, but I've realized that staff believe that random mining + finding ores = x-ray. This is simply not the case. It never will be. Ores are extremely common through out the world; they make up a large portion of it. In this instance, I was falsely banned after mining. There was no evidence that I was x-raying, and if there is I'd like to see it, but I won't, since there is none. I have proof that I'm innocent, and that I wasn't cheating, or x-raying like you suspect. Before banning people without evidence please, listen to their points. If you want to hear about the evidence, well, it will prove my innocence. I'm sure of it. By using a screen recorder, I recorded the entire session I was on (the one I was jailed and banned during). I have the file. I don't know how to send it to you, or how you'd prefer it but I'm telling the truth. I did not x-ray. I'd never do it again on this server. Please let me know how you want the file given to you. Thank you for reading this. I appreciate it.
Why do you want to come back: I really enjoy playing on the server with all of my friends I've made. It's one of the best I've come upon, and out of the dozens of servers I have visited I have never been able to find one as fun and well-made as this one.
