Hey. I recently died when using /rand. I was teleported around 20 or so blocks in the air and fell to my death. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Is /rand really that randomized? Is something messed up within the system? I'm very confused.

Why should you be unbanned: In my defense, the structure appeared to be long abandoned, however I am not aware of the total runtime of the server. The rules most likely do state that a player cannot loot abandoned builds, but I was anxious to return to the game after about a year of other games. I am terribly sorry, and should I be allowed to return, I will study the rules more carefully.

Why do you want to come back: To be honest, I put a lot of work into that house. and it would be a shame to have it waste away. I hope to get back soon, and continue onwards. I solemnly swear to return any materials I have left to the rightful owner, and pay currency to make up for some of the lost value.

Why i was banned: X-Ray

Why do I deserve an unban? So i was minning with a friend and he used X-Ray but i didn't now. But i minned all the dia bc i had Fortune on my dia pickaxe. In total whe had a stack of Normal dia I didn't sell these so i can just give them back. I now that this is still my fould. But can i get a second chance?

What would I do when I'm unbanned? I would just do some laid back survial again like all the others! and clean my name...

Reason for your ban: X-Raying whilst mining

Why should you be unbanned: I apologize for using X-Ray while mining. I was just curious about the perspective of an X-ray miner and just wanted to mess around somewhere. It was very immature and stupid of me to cheat in a server, instead of doing it on singleplayer on my own, and not to suppress the temptation to exploit my curiosity to mine excessive amount of diamonds. After this ban, I've learned and experienced the perspective of a cheater, and I learned my lesson. Honestly, it was fun, but it's not that fun to imagine the ruined server economy, gameplay to others and, just be banned after a few hours. I am truly sorry for my actions and all the frustration I have given to my friends and the staff. 

Why do you want to come back: I've been building a healthy community with a few wonderful friends around hometown. I want to enjoy my experiences in Hometown again when I return. I don't care about my budget or anything; I just came, and want to come back to just chat with my friends and have fun. I will turn in the remaining diamonds that I have stored, and happily discard all my balance as the server regulations. 



I will answer the questions beforehand. 

-Why is xraying bad?
It is very effective to gain a destructive advantage over other players in mining, it also ruins the server economy easily with a single x-ray mining trip (which I had)


-How does xraying affect the servers economy?
The said trip above yielded me over 2 stacks of diamonds in a matter of minutes, which usually took me over 8 hours to collect. My experiences convey that via collecting an excessive amount of diamonds (aka money) can swiftly stack up and give an unfair advantage to other players.


-How does xraying affect the other players of the server? 
It doesn't seem to directly affect other players, but it will heavily affect other players in terms of economy, and possible competitions players might have.

-What have you learned from this ban? 
I've learned that Cheating is not the best thing to experience in a server, and experiencing a cheater's point of view made me think that I deserved to be banned. Even if it's just to experiment or just to mess around, cheating is never a wise decision to make. There are better things for me to do than cheating, and it made me think twice before making decisions. None of this will ever happen again from me, I will promise I will become a fair-playing person.

I noticed a few of the warp sites have signs stating there is a "no homes" rule. Why? Does setting a home cause the site to behave differently? And how could this be enforced? Can you detect if another player has sethome somewhere?

Why should you be unbanned: Ok first I was using xray and I understand that I was breaking the rules and I also know that I would totally understand if the moderators didn't unban me. I wanna be unbanned because it was a careless stupid mistake and I regret doing it. I also wanna be unbanned because this server has a great community and a great server in general. It seems that mods are doing a great job on keeping the hackers/cheaters out. If I did get unbanned the mods wouldn't even have to worry about me cheating cause it wouldn't happen again. I just really enjoyed the time I had on the server and it was honestly the most fun I have had in a while on the game and I wanna keep playing on this server progressing through the ranks and the game (only this time legit). It would mean a lot if I could get one last chance on the server. If not I totally understand.  

Why do you want to come back: I wanna come back because like I said it was honestly some of the most fun I have had in the game and the amount of warps and fun stuff to do in the server it's just great. I loved building on this server and growing my kingdom and watching others being respectful to each other instead of flat out hating each other. This is my favorite server and I would really like another chance.

Why should you be unbanned: i did not grief at all, if anything i was scared someone else would grief me let alone causing the same circumstance to someone else, especially since i have no clue who shisuan is

Why do you want to come back: my best friend and i have been playing on hometown for quite a while, we're both laid-back server kinda guys and this was the perfect one, i spent so much time building a house from scratch and for all that to be taken away by something i have no idea i did sucks 

So guys I'm going on my gold DofE expedition, and won't be back till friday??

I don't know how I'll survive for five days walking 20km a day and eating nothing but porridge and tuna, but I'll try. See y'all soon
