So as the thread subject suggests I would like to ask if there is any possibility of bringing this back.

I have found that while making any sort of farm or service it can sometimes be very difficult to have a warp name - that is both descriptive and precise to the service you are trying to offer - that is not already taken by another player. For instance there is only so many ways to think of a guardian farm related warp name where it might still be memorable and easy to find. (Just an example for all farms or shops).

I propose we bring back the Warp Reclamation process to allow warps where players have been inactive for a certain period of time to be resold.

That being said I would greatly appreciate peoples thoughts on the matter as I know this is likely to be a touchy subject with really everyone who doesn't wish their warp to be resold to another player if they can't get on for a while.

I propose a few rules thusly which I think are completely fair:

1. There must a strict period of inactivity of at least 6 months. This doesn't mean not building at that warp for that time, it would mean that the player has not logged in at all during that time and at that point is unlikely to return.

2. You should obviously pay the normal warp price if you use this process as obviously this is a new warp for yourself and you should be charged accordingly.

3. There should be a formal request on the forums if someone wishes to buy a warp that is already claimed with a format much like a ban appeal for example: 
Name of player: Steasaur 
Name of warp: PrismShop
Name of player who owns existing warp: Steasaur
I also think there should be a minimum time for it to be considered and for the existing owner to refuse this if they check the forums.

4. I think in all fairness that if a player buys a warp using this process and the old owner returns the new owner must agree to relinquish the warp to its original owner and perhaps be allowed to create a new warp name for no charge. This way everyone should be happy more or less.




Please let me know what you think, especially staff as we would be bothering you to do this for us which I completely appreciate is already adding to the work you do for us. I think this process will really come in handy for everyone in the long run and will, I hope, limit (even slightly) the amount of new warps being created and added to the list.

been trying to log on for 3 hours now, but everytime it just kicks me out (Minechat, can't go on computer) which is weird, because everything else works just fine. Is the server down or is the problem on this side?

Why should you be unbanned: I think I should be unbanned from home town because I sincerely love this server and I realized that my use of X-Ray mod was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made in Minecraft. I was playing with my friend on 1/2/16 and we were talking about how we both just installed the X-Ray mod and I was learning how to use the mod, and I accidentally hit the button for it and found out how to use it. As a result of me finding out how to use the mod, I went mining and used it to mine something like 42 diamonds or something around that number. I am sincerely sorry about using X-Ray mod and I would like to just forget about this incident and be able to come back on the server because me and some of my friends also got banned on the server and we all feel that this was one of the best semi vanilla servers we have ever been on. I realize that I made a terrible mistake and if I am lucky enough then I will be granted a second chance and I will never make the same mistake. So I if granted the ability to gain access once again on home town will never make the mistake and i will burn the items in lava that I got from using the mod, if I am not fortunate enough to gain access to hometown then I will forever leave this site alone and never bother anyone associated with this site again.

Why do you want to come back: As I stated above, because my friends and I used this server as like a meeting place to play semi vanilla Minecraft and just have fun together. Also I stated above and will restate it, that my friends and I believe that this was one of the best and if not the best semi vanilla server we have ever played on. So please consider my appeal and hopefully I will once again be on the great server of home town. Thank you so much for reading and considering my appeal.

i made a ban appeal a while ago and it has 86 veiws and no response how long does it usually take for an admin to reply to a ban appeal

I want to host an art competition to find the best painter on the server. Here's how it'll work. Any number of people who want to participate can participate for free (All you have to do is respond to this thread by saying your IGN and your VIP status by 7 A.M. central time on Saturday, August 12)! All canvases, dyes, paint buckets, easels, and item frames will be supplied. If there are over 8 people, I will split the people into groups and host small competitions in Warp Paint to find the top 8 people. These competitions will most likely be between 6:00 P.M. August 12 and 7:00 P.M. The top 8 painters get into the HomeTown Art Tournament! Round 1 of the HomeTown art tournament will last 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes, the participants will be required to paint a 2x1 painting of whatever the judge wants them to paint. The 2x1 painting must be in the 2 item frames above the easel before the 30 minutes ends. The judge will pick 4 people, and those 4 people move on to round 2, where they will have 24 hours to paint a 3x2 painting of whatever the judge wants them to paint. The painting must be made in the easels supplied at the tournament, so other people can watch. At the end of that 1 day, the judge will pick 2 people to advance to the final round. In the final round, the 2 people will have 48 hours to paint a 4x4 painting. At the end of the two days, the judge will decide on a winner. In order to ensure the judges have no bias, they are required to find 4 other people who will help them in deciding the better painting.
     The first place prize will be a new car from the dealership (thank you, Uber, for donating this prize!) and 5-10k, depending on what people donate. On the subject of donating, I am in desperate need of donations. I am accepting money, emeralds, concrete, canvases, easels, and dyes. I am looking to have a prize for 2nd place and increase the prize money for 1st place. For this, I will need either cash donations or item donations, such as diamonds, dragon heads, elytras, shulker boxes, vehicles, and other items of that sort. It appears this thing is going to cost me about 15k or so to build and host, so I really need donations. Contact me in-game to donate stuff. Currently, the people who have donated are the following: Uber (a ton of leather and a car),  Jelly (A ton of emeralds), Sebas (1k), and Dino (a lot of random, but useful, stuff)
     So far Duck and I have completed the stadium for round one of the tournament, and have bought two warps for it. /Warp ArtTournament, and /Warp A, for short. Duck and I have also designed the final stadium. We need to design and build the second stadium, and we need to build the final stadium. I will be moving Warp ArtTournament and Warp A to the second arena and the final arena when we get to the second and final round. The warps will never change, but where they warp to will.
     Registration deadline is 7 A.M. Saturday, August 12. The pre-tournament selection round(s) may happen between 6 P.M. and 7 P.M. The first round will be at 7 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. Saturday, August 12. The second round will be from 8:00 P.M. August 12 to 8:00 P.M. August 13. The final one will be from 9:00 PM August 13 to 9:00 PM August 15. All times are in central time.

So last night (Sunday the 6th) I was just flying around and DeaDCorE happened to be where I was, and he just dropped everything in his inventory and left the server. I picked everything up and put it in a chest near where he was when he left. I sent him some mail explaining where it was. 

Today (Monday the 7th) when I logged in (~8 PM) I did /seen deadcore1 and it said he was on a couple hours ago, I checked my mail and got no reply, and I checked the chest and he didn't take any stuff out.

So I'm letting you know Deadcore, your stuff is at [-8793, 68, 10985] if you want it.

If you dont want it either say something here or (Preferably) let me know In-Game via /msg or /mail send _Vigilance_

Hey everyone! Creep here!

For those of you who don't know, I took a break from hometown for the past few months due to Law School prep and activities. I am now able to go on over the summer time, and will try and go on after it as well. 

So, I'm probably new to many of you. That means an introduction is in order!

I've been on this server almost since the beginning, so I'm an oldie lol.

I'm Creeper, Creep for short. I may seem like a creep sometimes but I really love talking to people and making friends. I admit I can be dramatic, but it's so fun :3 . I currently own /warp CreeperMart which I need to restock. I would be so thankful if you helped me!

I also have a mansion, iron farm, just built a Pokémon center, and more! Let me know if you wanna see them or exit through the door at CreeperMart
