hello all, i'm here to introduce myself

i was pretty active on hometown under the username iiEmeraldPaw around 2019-2020, and now i'm returning under a different account. i missed the server and the community, so here we are again lol

some random things about me—
• i really, REALLY like rhythm games
• i'm an artist
• i'm from Texas
• i'm 15
• i'm a flute player in my school's marching band
...and that's all i can think of right now

anyways, i'm looking forward to connecting with you all, or even reconnect if you've known me from a few years back!

Reason for your ban (exactly what it says when you try to log in!): Greif 

Who banned you: TheDutyPaid

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): I was playing with EnigmaWZ (who I no longer talk to) and was warping around the place. He eventually ran into this amazing town looking build with an unclaimed beacon on the outside of it. He realized that the beacon was unclaimed and I /tpa over to him. We then slowly mined away at the beacon, and me knowing a lot about the server's rules, I completely forgot about it. I should of remembered the rules, the consequences, and the time it took TheDutyPaid to gather the resources and build it. I think EnigmaWZ took most of the beacon, and I took some blocks from the cliff and the beacon. After we were done with that we found a way into the town and wandered around and I saw some wheat, which I took but replanted most of it. After all of that We logged off, and after some time we realized we have been banned.

Why do you want to come back: I used to play this server a lot when I was younger and smarter about the rules, and I just would like to be able to play this server again since I have so many good memories of playing it. (Sorry this event happened a few months ago and I just finally decided to appeal for a ban).

Yea, you read that right. I wanna upgrade to vip3 but it does not have the currency of my country. So i have to depend on someone else who could.

Sometimes the server sends a chat message advertising about things on it. I'll suggest adding an adblock command to so you wouldn't see the ads. Just like the /ignore command but for the server console instead.

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): This was my first time playing on this server. I was playing with a friend and we didn't know that taking blocks that were in the middle of the forest was  considered griefing. I thought it only applied to if the place was claimed, or the person was there or if there was a chest with things inside. I feel really bad for the person I took and destroyed their structure! If you let me come back I promise I can give him back his blocks and even help him/her build their structure back.

Why do you want to come back: I really enjoyed this server. My friend and I searched for a long time for somewhere we could find a place to build some really cool things and interact with equally cool people. I promise this will NEVER happen again.

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): It was my first time playing on this server that a friend suggested. I misunderstood the term of griefing as stealing items from another player, which I did not do, and instead took interesting blocks from areas throughout the world (that other players had made). I have understood it now and it will not happen again, love playing on this server and always try to help others and be part of the community. 

Why do you want to come back: it is the only server I play on, do not really enjoy mini-games in other servers and my friend and I spend hours on the server, have thoroughly enjoyed it and the system it has in place. As mentioned, it will not occur again and I have understood all the rules now. Looking forward to the response.

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): one of my friends i met on hometown built a giant mountain at their base, i thought it would be funny if i put a water bucket on the top and the next day i was banned. I was just trying to do a little prank but got banned for it

Why do you want to come back: I haven't played in around 2-3 years. i want to go back on memory lane and see all the builds i did like my mega base

I was exploring around yesterday and warped to SimpleTown I think it was.

Half way round the village my game crashed.
Now every time I try to connect it crashes.
I don't have any issue connecting to other public servers.

Error is:

The game crashed whilst rendering entity in world
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "hc.a()" because the return value of "bpt.h()" is null
Exit Code: -1

I don't have any packs / mods loaded and it's running on 1.19
Is there a way I can fix this? Do I need to delete a file locally or is it possible to edit it so I spawn at home rather than in that chunk? Or am I screwed...
