Hi, I purchased VIP3 a couple days ago and I am still just VIP. How long does it take to activate a higher level VIP?

Hello all my lovely Hometown Citizens! 

It has been 7 years since Hometown has opened! Our staff has done some amazing things! Let's show them some appreciation! 

Just as the summer trade! I am hosting a GIFT A STAFF program. Anyone who is not a staff (elite and below) can sign up. On SEPTEMBER 1ST I will send everyone mails on who gets which staff and also a warp. There you drop gifts for them in their respective chests. Entries close on the 20th.

Now with the gifts I recommend at least 3 uncommon- rare items with variety. Let show them our love!

I love this server! I just want to start by saying you guys are always very welcoming and kind! Everyone has been super chill, so far. I have been on the server here and there for a few months now. The last couple weeks, I haven't been on as much. I have only popped my head in to check a few things when I could. Life is getting busy, but I suppose that is a good thing, eh? I am hoping to be back once the server is open to all. Finally signed up for the forums after the confusion I had withe the whitelist notice. At any rate, I just wanted to formally say hello to you all! I have missed playing with you guys. Also, looking forward to meeting new people!

Why I

Why am I now getting a message saying that I am not whitelisted on the server and not able to get onto Hometown? Is Hometown whitelisted for some reason? Is it down for maintenance? Kind of confused.. At least one other person has had this issue as well because they posted about it on the Ban Appeal page thinking maybe they got banned.

I've looked at the forums and been unable to find anything announcing the server would be down for any reason or anything about whitelisting so I'd like to know what's up, if anyone knows.

 It's time for another Hunger Games! This time we will be using the wild west arena! You will get $150 for each person that you kill, and the top 3 players will receive a cash prize. The prizes will be awarded at the end of the event. Here's how you play: Everyone will start in a pod in the air. When the game begins the doors will open and everyone will jump into the map. Everyone will then start to search for Armor, Weapons, Food, and Potions. During the game players will fight to the death. You are allowed to pick up other people's loot! Once there is only 4 Players left alive the DeathMatch will begin. Each player will receive their own /warp to the arena via /msg.  We also have a way for everyone to spectate the games after they die! You can use /warp spectate to get to the map and you can use /warp deathmatchspectate to get to the deathmatch arena (these /warps are only used by spectators)

Friday August 14th at 1:00 PM CT


. This is Central Time so you will have to convert it to your time zone. Please try to be 20-30 minutes early! 


Where:

 Go to /warp hungergames. If you die you can go to /warp spectate, if you want to watch the deathmatch go to /warp deathmatchspectate. 


Prizes: 

$150 per Kill.

1st Place: $3,000

2nd Place: $2,000

3rd Place: $1,000


Rules: If you break any of these rules you will be permanently banned from the Hunger Games.

1. No Commands like /tpa, /back, /ptime, /fly, etc.

2. Do not abuse any glitches, flaws in the map, or use hacks of any kind.

3. Do not try to leave the arena. If you leave the map you will be disqualified. And do not try to get in after you have died.

4. Come with an empty inventory. Do not bring weapons, armor, food, etc.

5. Teaming IS NOT ALLOWED. If there is teaming of any kind you will be disqualified. This includes giving other people gear.

6. Do not abuse the spectator's area or try to get back in once you have died.

7. If you accidentally glitch into the map before the game starts or while you are spectating please warp out. Don't wander around.

I've seen the concept of money vouchers used on a similar server to HT, they are as simple as pieces of paper, all with different values, that can be bought from/sold to an admin shop for their corresponding amounts of money ($500, $1000, $10000, etc.) I think this would be pretty nice to have especially for things like Derp's Secret Santas if somebody would simply like to gift somebody cash along with gifts or maybe even for lower-value vouchers (so as to not destroy the economy) to be won in slots as voter rewards. I think we can all live without it, but I thought it was a cool idea I guess
